Just another mediocre place in Palmer. I wish some of the restaurants in town would try just a little bit to be something more than average. Why do we have to drive to other towns all the time to get a high quality. unique restaurant meal. This place unfortunately offers nothing pleasant or unique - including the atmosphere.

We stopped in after leaving the Brimfield Fair for a burger and beer before our trek back to eastern Massachusetts.We started off with some local beers which were excellent; although not cold enough for our expectations.The burger is a 10oz fresh patty, cooked to your liking, with cut fries and the standard veggie toppings. Absolutely delicious!!The blackened haddock sandwich was another big hit with lettuce, tomato, onion and hand-cut fries. Yummy!!!No room for dessert after this, but enjoyed both so much, I wasn't missing out!!

Hubby and I hit this place on a mini brewery tour. Small and quiet with a limited food and brew menu. Hubby got the lamb chorizo grinder and said it was outstanding. I had the cheese board and it was fine. The 3 cheeses were similar but everything on it was local and tasty. The beers were good as was the cider. Definitely worth a visit if youâre in the area.

This place is average on every level, even their beer is average- how they present their beer on a big chalk board that half the restaurant canât see is not user friendly. Server didnât know much about food or drinks. Nothing special here...

The "Country Lounge" name and photo don't match the pub that is at the location shown in Wales Massachusetts. Terry O'Keefe's pub is a very friendly small town pub that has live music on Friday evenings all year 'round and on Sunday afternoons in the summer. The decor isn't fancy but there are darts and a pool table for fun. The food is very good. We like the appetizers. The Irish nachos are fresh and quite popular.In the warmer months, the pub is quite popular with motorcyclists, particularly on Sundays.

The Pub continues to be our favorite gathering place for this area. The loss of the owners, Terry and Sheila, has not altered the quality of the great food and friendly service. Gathering by the stove for Thursday tacos and Friday fish and chips are two of our favorites. The Irish nachos are always great. Live entertainment is also a big plus.
