We went to this Irish Pub to watch a footbal game outside. There is a good atmosphere, well placed tv screens and good sound. Service however was slow. Drinks were OK. We had no food, but folks around us seemed enjoying their meals.

Our restaurant and beer garden have existed since 1996 and are run by the Bell family. Since April 2007 we have completely rebuilt our restaurant, as well as the beer garden. In addition to general improvements, above all the comfort was in the foreground

It might look enticing and attractive from outside but once inside you begin missing Mc Donald food which at least, has no pretense. Avoid the Wiener Schnitzel, it tastes like Wienna slumps, damp and hard and even the German dishes are bland and banal. The service is slow, and indifferent, it took 45 minutes to see the dishes on the table and even then they were Luke warm. The prices are reasonable but the whole experience is unpleasant and highly commercial. The salad was definitely not edible

Popped into the Jagerhof the first time a few months back, when attempting to find a non-smoking establishment in Ahrweiler (unfortunately for us, most places are smoker-friendly). The Jagerhof has separate areas for smoking & non-smoking. The Jagerhof is a friendly place - on our first visit the landlord (Willy) was running the show, and he made us feel right at home. The place is nice for meeting up for friends for a couple of drinks, or if you're just passing through Ahrweiler and looking for a non-smoking watering hole. Seating is also provided out front, on NiederhutstraÃe. Should you get peckish, there is a small menu to get you by. We've been back a couple of times now & the other staff are also really welcoming/friendly. Definitely recommended. P.S. Forgot to mention they have a drink/beer of the monthly, which has featured Kilkenny and most recently Guiness :-)

Good sports bar with SKY TV and many tv's on the wall. Very friendly people/staff. Price is right: â¬3,50 for a very full glass of rose wine. We could watch the F1 race in Spain completely (where Max Verstappen won his very first race...the Dutch guy did it!!) even though there was German football that the rest missed out. Very good service!The bar also offers some bread, sausages etc. The goulash soup was good.
