Nice thin based pizza, but very dry toppings. Actually bland and not very appetizing especially considering the price . Better value would be Romans pizza. Tried it, but would not go back for seconds. Attached pictures shoes two different pizzas but they look the same.

We stopped by Windmeul Winery for pinotage and cape blend. When we arrived inside we were told that they had none of either wine, that both the Pinotage and the Cape Blend had sold out within minutes. It made for a quick but unproductive stop.Good day,Both the Pinotage Reserve and Cape Blend Reserve has been sold out for some time. Please email [email protected] if you wish to be notified when the new vintages are available.The cellar range Pinotage 2017 has been released last week.

Large menu with specials on the wall. Heavy concentration on pizzas and steaks. In view of the main course options, I thought the starters needed increasing. Service slow but top class waiter.

Great service & athmosphere, which is nowadays a rarity. The food is out of this world. Most succulent steaks and the kids did enjoy the pizza. We will definitely revisit The Coffee Republic.

Thank you for a perfect Mother's Day, a superb menu; a clever fusion of traditional South African & Italian dishes served in a harvest-table style of sharing around the table. The setting is rustic, charming and the views are idyllic, all this resulting in a 4 hour lunch, eating, relaxing and chatting with other patrons and joined by talented Chef Morne. Our waitress Priscilla was equally charming and worked her magic around the room with her attentive service. The Retief farm, paired with The Blacksmith's Kitchen & Stubborn Man wines is to be shared and we look forward to seeing what Father's Day has to offer.

Pizza Vista -the name says it all! With expansive mountain views from the terrace and wood fired traditional pizza and pasta dishes, what a fantastic venue to unwind with a craft beer, cocktail or glass of Estate wine while the kids enjoy the splash pad.

I enquired whether the gluten free pizza base (offered on the menu) was avilable. As it was not, I ordered the grilled calamari. As it took an excessively long time to arrive, I was shocked to be presented with a plate of deep fried calamari. Though it looked delicious, it was not what I ordered as I am gluten intolerant and therefore specifically ordred the menu item, grilled calamari. The waiter apologised and returned after an even longer wait with a plate of grilled calamari (cajun style and so salty as to be hardly edible) and uncooked fries (the fries that accompanied the the first plate of fried calamari really looked delicious and crispy). I finished less than a quarter of the calamari and did not even touch the chips. Never again.Dear wwandrag,Thank you for taking the time to review Piza e Vino. It is only through feedback such as yours that we are able to improve on our level of service and quality of our dishes. We sincerely apologize about the slow service and the mix-up with the calamari dish. I went to Gecko Lounge well past 14:00 and ordered a 300g sirloin steak with veggies. I ordered a cold deink first and it took forever for the waiter to bring the drink. After I got the drink I placed my order immediately and again the food was very slow to get to the table. A meduim rare steak does not take that long... The steak was completely underdone and I had to go and call the sushi chef to get some attention. The steak was taken back after a while. The shifts changed, the waiter left, I was not told, never asked how the meal was or if I wanted another drink. In general it was not a great experience, but the steak was good quality meat and the pumpkin was very good. The service need improvement.
