We stayed in a hotel across the street so we walked to this restaurant. I got walnut sauce on ravioli which seemed novel and it was wonderful.There were many novel pasta dishes to choose from and it was hard to make up one's mind. I believe it was the chef who came out and talked to us in English and said he had been in NYC many years ago. My husband got a risotto dish which he liked. There is parking and an outside eating area.

There are other restaurants in Domodossola but do yourself a favour and eat at Vikingo - the food is excellent. Itâs a family run restaurant. Fausto takes great pride in delivering his customers delicious food, Marinella, his wife and his son Giuliano deliver the very best of service. Really not to be missed.

Although is not located in the main Mercato Square but just in the proximity of it, itâs definitely worth a stop. Good food at a moderate price which combines Southern Italian dishes with more typical local cuisine. Pizzas are delicious and quite unusual in their ideation.

Sur la route du Simplon, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner dans ce restaurant sympathique, où lâaccueil est chaleureux et très souriant. Les pizzas semblaient délicieuses, mais nous avons plutôt choisi une viande, spécialité du restaurant, en l'occurence des côtes dâagneau, vraiment excellentes , et des raviolis savoureuses, le tout servi avec le sourire et dans une atmosphère très conviviale. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande sans réserve.

Just out of luck!! We found this great place while we were looking for something tasty and cheap for our sunday late lunch. The owner was great. Incredibly nice and welcoming. He looked proud of his restaurant and his products, and he has the reason too! Pizzas, focaccia and falafel were great. No junk food here! Totally recommended! Quattro grigliate miste con porzione nella norma niente di che una bottiglia di prezzo medio basso e quattro dolci 39 ⬠a testa è un pelo esagerato ora capisco perché il locale era vuoto . Trovare briciole sul tavolo appena seduti ...mhhh ... e poi quando i ragazzi del tavolo affianco se ne vanno vedi la cameriera che con lo spazzolino pulisce la tovaglia ( di carta usa e getta !!! ) senza cambiarla ... capito ... peccato prima e ultima volta...

We have very old friends who have a house in Premosello, near the Lago Maiore, and this restaurant is one of their favorites, and we do agree. Situated in the same valley, between the lake and the Swiss border, this hidden gem is mostly used by the locals (always a good sign!) It serves food 'Albergo style', but what they serve is more than excellent, at very reasonable prices. Be aware, the portions are huge, so if you take a starter, followed by a main course, followed by dessert, you will have eaten 4 times... Do as the locals do, and ask for half a portion, or a small portion, or share 1 portion. Our group numbered 10, so we sampled many different things, and it was, without exception, all excellent!
