Reviews on Pizza food in St. John, Caribbean. Ecotourism is alive and kicking on St. John. There's more than enough to do on land, from watching for wildlife in the national park to hiking miles of trails or strolling sandy white beaches. Hit the water for amazing snorkeling, swimming, even underwater photography—of course. This is the Caribbean, after all.

What a great place! It's brightly painted, the salad bar is in a nifty wooden boat, the bartenders are awesome, there are swings at the bar and the ribs are outstanding! Need I say more? Make it a point to go!

On our night to “cook” for the 13 people we were vacationing with, we elected to get 4 pizzas and some salads from Ronnie’s. It was a hit! Pizza was really delicious - we had a meat lovers, cheese, pepperoni and a pep/sausage. All were great, but meat lovers was my favorite. 4 large pizzas and two salads was just a bit over $100, which on the island is downright cheap. We got ours as takeout, which was really easy to phone in the order and easily pick it up. We called several hours early and ordered for a specific pickup time. Everything was ready and appropriately hot/cold when we got there. Super easy and delicious, will definitely order from Ronnie’s again next trip.

We called ahead and took a few pizzas and a calzone back to the house we rented. They do have a few tables, but you may want to call your order in if you do not want to wait. They have a bar and we ended up waiting enough time for one beer. If you like to explore, come out and grab a bite.

Four of us walked up for dinner. It was Val and my first time since the new owners. First impressions were that they spent an lot of time and money on the place and they did a great job. The floor looks like your walking on the ocean, I love it. The chairs have cushions! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We had some issues like a Bloody Mary I ordered. It was supposed to be the ultimate. When it was brought to me it was plain to see it was not mixed but when I mixed it there was a lot of sediment in the bottom of the glass and it would not break up. I’m not sure what the issue was but I sent it back and ordered a bottle of beer.Another issue was a grilled cheese sandwich was ordered and it took three times for them to get it right? By time the final correct sandwich was brought to the table the rest of us was finished eating.I have to say when they got it right the result was delicious! I ordered a shrimp meal with rice and a vegetable. The shrimp was amazing. The rice delicious and the vegetable was spinach with onions and it was perfect. The issues we had was just due to training of the new personnel which I’m sure they’ll get past and with a kitchen cooking as good as they are I’m sure this is going to be a go to restaurant! I recommend it and so give it a try. Restaurants are not easy to get going on island and they need your support. Hopefully next time I can give them a five star review.Thank you for your thoughtful review! We are working hard to make sure everything is perfect since our reopening a few weeks ago. My husband and I were excited to try Cafe Roma and were soooo disappointed by not only the food but the ambiance, if that is what you call it! The restaurant is situated on top of a bar and it's not in a nice area what so ever. Cafe Roma is dirty, dated and has FLIES EVERYWHERE! We have eaten outside many times in St. John and have never seen this many flies and it is in an air conditioned closed room! The food was mediocre...I ordered the flat bread and pasta with brocolli in a wine sauce. My husband got a salad and the same pasta with chicken added. My flat bread was basic...bread with cheese melted. Nothing special. The pasta was terrible...neither one of us liked it. The wine sauce was just WINE...no flavor other than that, and bad wine to boot! Trust me, we have had way better experiences on the island! Stephanie was our server and the only redeeming part of tonight's experience! She was friendly and kept apologizing for the flies...so why don't they DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM? I would highly recommend you go somewhere else for dinner, because this set us back $90 with tip and that was a CRIME!!Hello Sorry about your visit to Cafe Roma.We have had to restaff due to the off season and we are under renovation. And the worst part we let your party down. When you return again to St John please try us again. The meal is on us. I read your review to my new staff who had only been together for 2 days when you had dinner. It was a eye opener and we will strive to improve.
