The food tasted good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. BUT the portions were obscenely huge. It was enough for three people instead of one. Everyone we saw was taking home a carry out box of leftovers. We were able to feed ourselves and the grandchildren the next day! Sorry, I was raised to finish what is served on my plate and that is physically impossible with these servings. This was good Italian-American food but there is absolutely no way these portions would be served in Italy. Even Nonna would not put this much on a plate!

After a morning of sightseeing in Long Beach we repaired here for a lunch-break. A pleasant bright space we opted for outside seating, to enjoy the sunshine and the surrounding ambiance.Chicken piccata was our choice and very good it was. Accompanied with refreshing drinks, all very satisfying. The staff were great, welcoming and friendly. Adding in the good value, we give it a deservedly high recommendation.

Counter with deli, antipastos, salads, olives and more. Freezer with prepared entrees and fresh desserts to take home. Italian Market with products like pasta, packaged spreads and desserts. Last, but not least, hot food to eat there or take out. We chose pepperoni pizza which was really good. Crust was thick but not doughy. Sauce was different; a bit sour and salty but tasty.

My husband and I used to order take out here often. The service is always great. Unfortunately, the last few times the food has not been up to par. The pizza has been underdone.

Freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The Zucchini Parmesan Appetizer ($10) was extremely freshly prepared. The Meatball Pizza ($22, large) was overcooked, meatballs were not plentiful and lacked flavor. The Chicken Lasagna ($14.99) was freshly prepared, rich & creamy. Enjoyed the lasagne and eager to try their beef lasagna.Small & intimate restaurant.Service was friendly & attentive.Parking is limited, but we timed it right. They share parking with an Inn. Some curb parking.

I had dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen twice during my stay in Seal beach, one dine-in and one take out. On both occasions I received excellent service from the friendly staff. Food was good! Great prices as well. Will come back if I am ever in the area.

We ordered take out the night we arrived (a Wednesday) because we were looking for a non-chain pizza. We were not thrilled with the wait; the delivery did not include any plates or napkins although we had been promised them...as well as some side items...but the pizza itself was good. Meh....

We were at their restaurant about 15 years ago, before the landlord jacked up their lease price. They moved to the north side of PCH and made the quantum leap from the old leather booth Sinatra type atmosphere to 30 somethings style. Open ducts above, large open space, but quite noisy.Enjoyed the Jambalaya Fettucine and Shrimp Scampi.Sorry to say, the waitress forgot to bring our bread.Thank you for your review....It's always nice to get our former guests back. Sorry about the bread...but please just ask and we will be happy to accommodate youJoseph
