Sure, service could be a little more professional but certainly not more obliging.Fresh food served in incredible amounts: I always order to share to prevent La Grande Bouffe-like scenes... so if you weren't ploughing the fields for over a week: share....Pizza's come from the wood fired oven, pasta's freshly made and produce local: more honest than this will be hard to find. Don't expect fancy decoration or freewheeling on a plate but enjoy La Cucina Contadina Locale. Sometimes a wee bit crowded and lively but always cozy and warm: typical Umbrian hospitality...Compact winelist (from 8 to max. 25e for a bottle of Barolo) will complete your experience.

We had dinner here twice. The place is visited by locals and serves very good pizzas as well as traditional antipasti and pasta + meat dishes. The pizzas are made with the traditional wood oven. The antipasti are quite good (large plate of various cured meats, cheeses and other good stuff), for pasta there is the traditional choice . They ahve a small gelateria as well. The wine list is limited, though it has a good montefaloc rosso and a reasonable umbria IGT.The location is above the bar, with a large balcony which is nice in the cooler evenings. Across the street is a playing ground for children.

We were there last night...One of many visits so far this year.The place was humming with activity...not bad for a Tuesday out of season!The welcome is always warm!The food is amazing for the price.We started with a plate of appetisers for four... staggeringly good!Then pizza which was as good as ever!Some of the best we ever eat anywhere!Ice cream for some of us who had room...Wine and grappa to finish!And a bill for four which could not be faulted!We never come to Pietralunga without a visit here! Outstanding at what it does.

The food was amazing:fresh, authentic, perfectly prepared. Chef was gracious, generous, and a superb host. , our waiter was a gem and was attentive and really knew his stuff. The restaurant is clean, neat as a pin, comfortable, and conducive for long meals and good conversation. You'll not regret it.

Enjoyed a delightful lunch in this charming restaurant with breath taking view. Started with a delicious mixed appetizer platter and cheese with fresh tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and fresh pepper. Finished with a mouth watering hazelnut semi-fredo. Service was good. Enjoyed the outdoor patio seating. Would definitely recommend and return.
