Living in Elmwood means a schlep across town for any decent pizza, so one day I went the opposite direction to Bella and found pizza heaven! Sauce...amazing flavor, great coverage; crust...the foundation of the pie and Bella has created the perfect crust, thin but substantial; cheese...what can I say, they know how to top a perfect pizza. Add the super friendly staff who are always engaging and friendly no matter how slammed they are, and you have the perfect pizza spot. Give them a try, you'll be a fan too!

This is not the first venture that the owners had, as the name said is just the fifth.That means that they have a wide experience on the field, and should be doing something right.The menu is really wide, beside the pizzas you could order gyros, subs, wrapâs, wings, salads, calzones, burgers and traditional Italian dishes and pastas.Great quality on the food with good service in a nice ambient with Beer and Wine available.One of the places to keep coming back when in the area.

Eight of us went for a birthday dinner and all of us ordered something different plus a selection of appetizers. Everyone really enjoyed their food, it was all delicious! The service was outstanding, everyone was super friendly and professional. Cannot wait to return!

Itâs not hard to understand why Bertucciâs Italian Restaurant is a local favorite. The brick oven pizza sets it apart from other establishments in the area. You can call in to order pizzas to go, or have a seat inside and enjoy your food. If you want to dine in, walk straight to the first host stand. The front part right by the entrance way is for take out pizzas. The menu offers build your own pizzas as well as standard ones. Whatever pizza you get I highly recommend adding the garlic - it is beautiful. It gives the pizza such a wonderful taste. Garlic on the east coast to me tastes different than garlic anywhere else. Itâs amazing. I canât quite get it right in my kitchen (in England) to replicate the same flavor so I immensely enjoy it while I visit America. Bertucciâs also prepares many other Italian dishes. Everything about our visit to Bertucciâs Italian Restaurant was brilliant. They have fantastic food, the atmosphere is excellent, and the service is outstanding. Bertucciâs is highly recommend. Stretchs has the biggest best calzones around! Awesome meatballs and sauce! Coming from an Italian backround saying the meatballs are excellent means alot! Eggplant..mac and cheese and salads are great! Strech catered an event for us and it was fantastic! Newington has a hidden gem here with Stretch's!

I've been to the New Haven, Fairfield, Mohegan Sun and Yonkers locations. This place was just as good. Huge fan and glad there are two in the Hartford area. We had a shrimp and garlic oil pizza and sausage and pepperoni. Party of 6 and we all loved it.

The Newington Pizza Restaurant has the best eggplant parmesan grinders. The eggplant is breaded, and served with delicious peppers, cheese, and marinara sauce. I prefer to get it without the cheese because I love the taste of the eggplant. I live over in England. They do not have food like this. I will be craving this when I get home. You can eat in or take away. They have booths and tables to sit at. They also have a vintage old fashioned counter that takes you back to a simpler time. We've been getting our pizza from Joey Garlic's or Yanni's for the last few years but decided to try something new last weekend. We ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza and were thrilled with the decision. The crust was perfectly crunchy. The lightly breaded chicken chunks were plentiful and tasty, and the cheese and hot sauce was just right. We are moving Elm Hill up to our go-to for pizza here in town.

Yannis Pizza Restaurant offers take out food and sit down service. The portions you are served are incredibly large. Before you get your meal you get a delicious bread basket with several different kinds of warm bread (if you are dining in). The eggplant parm grinder is delicious, even the half was more than I could finish.

We recently went to Joey garlics and had a really good dinner. Itâs not my choice for authentic Italian they do have better than average Italian food. The service was good there were seats available we didnât have to wait in the handicap access was excellent. A young woman was saving two seats at the bar for friends, which really is nonsense. Bartenders didnât want to interject.Thank you so much for visiting! I couldn't be happier to hear you enjoyed your dinner with us! I'm sorry if your experience was anything less than perfect in the bar area. Our bar is self-seating, and I apologize if that put a damper on your visit. I hope we will get another chance to welcome you back for another delicious meal!
