Visited late at night and the staff were very helpful. We don't speak Italian so the gentleman serving us was very patient and even got his phone to use google translate. The pizzas we had were amazing. Definitely worth a visit if visiting the area. Very generously priced. 5*

Was looking for a restaurant that could cater for the kids who wanted pizza / pasta, but could also rustle up a lovely tuna steak. Mamma Mia managed this perfectly. The tuna was beautifully cooked and I had it with grilled slices of zucchini. They happily tweaked the ingredients in a pasta dish for my son and everyone else loved their pizzas.

When moored at the Marina di Stabia near Naples, we enquired about local restaurants and were given the choice between an authentic and a gourmet restaurant. We chose authentic! Located in a downtrodden industrial area south of Naples and just 15 mins walk from the marina, this place is a real gem. We had a fantastic meal with wonderful service in a packed-out restaurant on a Tuesday evening in October. The place was full of the young,the old, families and groups of friends with not another tourist in sight. All we could eat and drink of the finest for just over â¬50 per head.

The initial reaction of the restaurant is one of a positive impression with the old character of the building remaining but with a sympathetic renovation.The ambiance is relaxing and without any noisy distractions.We ordered a starter of Tris di Fritture which was a disappointment. The potato croquet was lacking in content, the fried rice ball was far too salty and the aubergine was lacking in flavour.as far as the pizzas went:BOTH THE POMO DâORO and the PIZZA COMMENDATORE were well received.disappointing were the SUA MAESTAâ MARGHERITA and the PIZZA MIRACOLA.The charge for the appetizers was considered high.

A lot of young people, and local families prove the good quality of this place. Not fancy - not expensive. (very close to Stazione Castellammare di Stabia. Superb food, great and quick service. Even if there are hundreds of restaurants in neighborhood - returned here even 3 times.

The pizza we had here was absolutely amazing and very authentic. The place is situated down a local Italian street with hustle and bustle of the busy locals nearby and it is only a small shop, but it does have tables indoors & out. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly throughout. If you love pizza and donât want to pay silly prices then this definitely is the place to go. thanks for the nice review and for the time that has dedicated us. We are waiting for another holiday in Italy and another good pizza from Enzo & Bruno.

Visited here tonight and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Waitress very pleasant and helped with the menu which was quite difficult to understand despite having an English section. Food was lovely, wine even better â¬12 euros for a bottle of speciality red wine. Disappointing that you had to pay for the bread baskets even when we didnât order them. Complimentary bread would have been a nice touch! Would go back though as food quality food.

We called in here one evening, based on other reviews. We ordered a couple of pizzas and a ravioli.The owner was really welcoming, taking our order to the kitchen with a song which echoed with the fab acoustics in the building.The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious - the best pizza we had so far according to our 15 year old. The ravioli was equally tasty and a generous portion.The only minor disappointment was that there were no desserts available, despite the menu suggesting this would usually be an option. There is a gelateria and also a bakery a couple of doors down so we had to move on for our 2nd course.Overall lovely food, reasonable prices and a friendly welcome.

We were refused our welcome drink by very unpleasant woman on till despite being told at reception that we could use our vouchers later after arriving. Suffice to say, we did not eat there again and spent our money somewhere else. Sono questi gli strumenti a nostra disposizione per migliorare i nostri servizi, soddisfare a pieno le aspettative dei nostri preziosi clienti. Il nostro più grande rammarico è quando questo non accade . In merito a quanto accaduto, ci teniamo a sottolineare che la nostra collega che si occupa della cassa del Varnelli Bistrot e Restaurant, non ha fatto nulla di sbagliato, anzi, ha cercato di gestire una situazione di incomprensione, cercando di spiegarle quanto accaduto. Al check-in di tutti gli Ospiti dell'Hotel del Sole, la reception offre agli Ospiti appena arrivati un welcome drink. Al momento in cui vengono consegnati i coupon ai clienti, viene specificato che la Direzione offre agli Ospiti una bevanda fresca di benvenuto, preparata direttamente dal nostro barman, e che basterà consegnare il coupon al bar, per ricevere il nostro drink di benvenuto. Ciò che è accaduto, è che, Lei ha pranzato nel nostro ristorante, e al momento in cui è andato a pagare il conto, voleva che da quest'ultimo fossero scalate le bevande, utilizzando i coupon del drink di benvenuto. La collega ha cercato di spiegarle che non fosse possibile, ma lei ha reagito molto male al rifiuto della mia collega, addirittura gettandole i coupon sul volto, in senso di disprezzo. Siamo certi che si fosse creato un malinteso, e che voi non avevate ben capito quale fosse l'utilizzo dei coupon di benvenuto, ma comunque sarebbe stato meglio cercare di ascoltare ciò che la collega stava cercando di spiegarvi. In ogni caso, speriamo comunque che il soggiorno presso l'Hotel del Sole sia stato gradito e che ne abbiate un buon ricordo. Vi aspettiamo al più presto di nuovo a Pompei per venire a scoprire le altre bellezze del nostro territorio, Cordiali saluti, La Direzione.
