Wasnât busy but took 15 mins to order. Entree came out 40 mins later to share with no side plates. Veal Scallopini, no sauce, 4 pieces of chewy veal served on a bed of chips. Wifeâs beef salad with pumpkin gnocchi looked nice but meat was chewy and gristly. Only good thing about our experience was the chips which were the shinning light in a disappointing meal.

Doesnât live up to the hype. We ordered 2 completely different pizzas and added extra ingredients. For one, they were extremely stingy with the extra ingredients and we felt ripped off. And we couldnât tell the pizzas apart, despite them being described as vastly different. Definitely nothing to write home about, and we wonât be going back.

We love the super tasty and topping rich pizzas from Nelsonâs and are regulars here. Nothing but the best gets over the counter and ALL other comparisons are distant second best. Our 2 friends received their pizzas which looked nice, but after waiting 15 minutes our 2 Gnocchi mealsfinally arrived with no apology. Music was extremely loud and annoying when trying to make conversation across our table. Ordered 2 Gnocchi, one Regular and 1 Large and received 2 Regular,only excuse was they were very busy with orders other than Pizzas. Appeared that we had two waitresses serving our table strange system no wonder our four meals did not arrive at the same time.And one last item the Gnocchi meals were tasteless no flavour and my wife orders Gnocchi each timewe dine out, we will never go there again.

Love this restaurant, while visiting Bendigo came in for a coffee, just looking at the menu,staff were very friendly, even informed me what to visit in Bendigo. We came back for dinner on Saturday night, very busy, although all staff gave friendly-prompt service and food was great and most of all the Gluten free pizzas were sensational.

We were staying in Bendigo overnight and arranged for pizza to be delivered to our accommodation. It was delivered at the time we were advised it would be when we ordered. They were hot and very tasty.The toppings were generous and the crust was perfect for our liking.There was a wide selection of the basic pizzas and a good range of gourmet pizzas to choose from.We will certainly order from Clogs next time we are in Bendigo and tell our friens about Clogs in Bendigo.Hi David,Thank you so much for your lovely review. Oh dear. The place looked nice. Buuuuuut.....it started poorly when we went to the bar to order drinks and they took ages to come, the orders were mixed up and one of them was wrong. The incorrect drink was replaced for free. We ordered dinner, and after a really long time, we questioned where the meals were. Ooops! It appears the order never made it to the kitchen. More apologies from the waitress, then the manager. More free drinks and a flat bread as an apology. Some of the meals turned up eventually. Two serves of paella took another 30 minutes to arrive, so most of us had finished our meals before the last 2 even made it to the table. The steak and salmon were good, the paella was mushy , bland and tasteless. I could not eat the rice part of the meal. The other two serves were equally as bad. So disappointing. More drinks were ordered, some of which did not show up. We ordered dessert, which took nearly 30 minutes to arrive, but I am pleased to report were generally nice. I read previous reviews, and it seems this is a common complaint - clearly they are not reading the reviews, or doing anything to improve the quality of their service or food. We were there for THREE HOURS trying to get our meals. Oh! And just to top it off, no toilet paper in the loos!! Good grief!! At least they were very apologetic (the only reason they got 2 stars and not 1) and gave us most of our meal for free. Will definitely NOT be back.

Had a table for four booked, one of my junior doctors could not get childcare.Her 18 month old daughter joined her, making it a table of five. Her daughter was quiet, colouring in or playing on an iPad. She did, however, want her own seat, which this restaurant could not cope with.We were subsequently moved to an outside table after our staters.The starters were beautiful. But the mains in the Siberian cold away from heaters, just tasted as sour as the attitude of the staff towards having a child in their establishment.It was embarrassing to host a function there. Food was good though.GlasseyedThank you for your feedback.We are a family owned business that has been welcoming families since opening 7 years agoWe are a fully booked restaurant 5 nights a week.If you have booked for a table of 4 people it is very hard for us to move your group to a table that accommodates your extra person at short notice. We really appreciate if you have an extra guest dining with you to call ahead so we can move our floor plan around with plenty of notice making sure we can accommodate everyone. Unfortunately at short notice the only table of 5 available to accommodate your extra guest arriving was outside in our heated alfresco area, Moving your group outside has nothing too do with having a child in our establishment, it has to do with us satisfying your needs of a table that accommodates 5 chairs around it Apologies we could not put you on a bigger table in the main dining area, unfortunately these were all bookedWe have staff get abused when we donât have tables available at short notice or if they cannot alter the dining room at customers request We do try our very best to please our guests and I hope you understand the position we were put in Please feel free to contact us if you which to discuss further Regards Paul PitcherChef/ owner
