My aunt and I went on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately it was empty at 8pm. However we decided to take a chance and had pizza. The service was lovely and friendly. About 8-30 a table of 5 came in so it felt a bit better . Pizza delicious.Would definitely go again.

4 popped in for pizza and pastaWith a garlic bread be warned very strong garlic if you donât like it to strongPizzas were tasty and a big portion on pasta carbonaraWonât beat a proper Italians but good enough Be warned cash only salesSorry if the garlic bread was too strong for you, but we've used the same recipe for 15 years, and 99% of customers love it, using words in their reviews like; 'best ever' 'awesome' etc.We had a giggle at 'proper Italian', as this cafe was all based on original Italian recipes , which we purchased from the previous owners and adhered to when we bought it over 12 years ago.No, we don't take cards (yet), but are in the complicated process of getting the right deal, but meanwhile you neglected to include the fact that there are FOUR cash machines within a few minutes walk, two are less than twenty seconds away.

Popped into this charming restaurant in Bakewell for dinner. The menu is centre around tapas style dishes and pizzas (cooked to order in the pizza oven). We opted for pizza and were not disappointed. Junipers also boasts a huge gin selection and we had great fun sampling a few. The guy who served was really friendly and the place has a really good feel. Highly recommend.

Visited the Tickled Trout as part of a large party. From the outset the staff were very friendly and personable and coped without difficulty in serving all our group on time with delicious food. Food has an Italian influence and is imaginative, flavoursome and utilises local and British produce. I had the Tickled Trout main course which was particularly tasty.As Iâm not from the area, I stayed overnight in the Little Trout cottage which is next door and run by the owners. Lovely place, tastefully decorated, clean and warm with thoughtful touches.Would thoroughly recommend.Thank you for writing such a great review for us!
