Molana is wonderful bit of Iran / Persia right in Watertown Square. The food is authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced. I've had a number of different dishes there, and not been disappointed in any ... all were excellent. But I especially liked the Baghali Polo With Lamb Shank ... tender, with a savory sauce and vegetables. It's definitely my favorite. The service is great ... very friendly and courteous. The owner / manager Mohsen is always available and interested to talk with you -- and he knows everybody. It's a great place to meet people from many different backgrounds.

Clean and comfortable environment with delicious authentic food. Our party of four all ordered the chicken khorovots plate. Everything was fresh and flavorful! The sauces were absolutely delicious, especially the garlic sauce and yogurt sauce. The chicken was moist and prepared with tasty spices. There was no shortage of food as the servings were plentiful, and we enjoyed every bite finishing it all! If we lived in the area, we would definitely be back!

First: it is a TAKEOUT ONLY place. Don't expect any seating service.For a takeout place, it is as good as it gets. Parking might be a bit hard, but if you can't find a spot along the Mt. Auburn, park on one of the perpendicular streets (a bit of walking then). It is as good as it gets if you're ordering a takeout for guests. Meats are neatly served over the bed of rice and can be coupled with several sides they offer.Depending on the order it might take 15-30 min to prepare. But everything will be fresh-fresh-fresh.There are some really nice vegetarian options (grilled veggies) as well.

I was very pleased to find an authentic Greek restaurant in Watertown Massachusetts. I ordered the pasticcio and Greek salad. The pasticio was totally authentic and quite delicious. The Greek salad was okay, it could have used more tomatoes and vinegar. The service was excellent and it was a quiet Sunday afternoon lunch that was just what I wanted. I have attached a picture of my lunch
