I decided to throw caution to the wind one evening and try something completely new. The reviews of this place were stunning so I decided to give it a try. Looking at the menu, nothing popped out that I knew, so I decided to be safe and try the Mixed Grill for one person. It was a bit on the pricy side but I was told it was a minor feast and I was hungry. This meal consist of several meats which consisted of beef patties, a chicken kebob, a spicy adana kebob (mixture of beef & lamb) and a lamb kebob. It was served over an order of rice and bulgur (whole grains). Small dishes of Domates Ezmes (spicy Turkish Salsa) and Haydari ((herbs, spices, garlic and yogurt) were supplied to compliment the meats. The meal was covered with a flatbread that was made without yeast (Yufka) and a couple of salads. I wasn’t fond of the Domates Ezmes (too spicy) and the Haydari (just not my thing). Before the food was brought to the table, an order of freshly prepared bread was served. It was simply delicious. I had two servings. Anatolia Restaurant is a small clean restaurant with limited seating and the staff are attentive to your needs. I would strongly recommend obtaining a reservation or take the chance of being turned away. I was lucky. I didn’t have a reservation but managed to get in. While I was there, I saw several people turned away since they didn’t want to wait. It’s very popular. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall on the north side of Dundas Ave just a few blocks east of Kipling. Parking is limited but if you arrive in the evening outside of business hours or on the weekends, you can always park next door at the Royal Lepage sales office parking lot. That’s where I parked and had no trouble. So throwing caution to the wind in this case paid off for me. I really enjoyed my meal and have been back there three times since. I would highly recommend this place to eat if you want to try something new or if you love Turkish Cuisine.Thank you very much for your visit and kind explanatory words. It is helpful for us and our future guests as well. Hope to see you again!

This restaurant is a cosmopolitan restaurant which serves delicious barbeque chicken and beef dishes. The meal menus come with very nice tasting rice and one order is enough for one or two people. The non-meal menus offer the same food with no rice.We normally order the chicken breast (boneless) meal and the burg kebab meal and share the boneless beef and chicken pieces between the two of us. The meals come with spices that one can add to one’s meal plus two clay oven naan.Instead of ordering soft drinks we order a jug of water which is served free. This not only is healthy but tastes good with the food.Do try this restaurant. You will like this.Munir D.
