Fantastic restaurant just outside old town square. Nicely decorated and very clean. Had steak the first evening and it was cooked to perfection, sides were delicious too. Chilli and burgers on night 2..equally delicious. Cheesecake was worth every single calorie! Young waiter spoke English and was extremely helpful with menu translation. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays.Thank U so much!!

"Hola Amigos!" I instantly felt right at home. The owner "Leo" has lived in San Diego for 3 years and HE LOVES MEXICAN CULTURE more than any man I ever met!! He has dedicated himself to making the best most authentic Mexican food possible. They make their own tortillas from scratch and they are GREAT. You can taste careful preparation and quality in all the ingredients. His hot sauces are homemade and they are delicious. Any MEXICAN WOULD INSTANTLY BECOME A REPEAT CUSTOMER and shocked to discover that he is from Poland. Leo has done his due diligence in the art of Mexican food, DEFINITELY EAT HERE! I think his best meat is his chicken. Great atmosphere! Very impressed!!

I ordered the fajitas for two and found a mix chicken, peppers, corn, zucchini, mushrooms and onions served in a pan with two overly toasted tortillas. The flavor was okay, it was not spicy, nor did it look or taste like a fajita mix. The salsa was also puree tomato with no seasoning to make it taste like anything I have ever been served before. So, if you want something with a Mexican name, but doesn't taste like Mexican food, you'll love this place, but if you want true Mexican flavors, cook at home or go somewhere else.
