We've come several times now and love all the various tacos, though the fish taco sauce can be a bit spicy for some. The shrimp ceviche tostada was a new and welcome discovery today. The restaurant is also open for lunch on Sunday.

We were very impressed the first visit to this small friendly mexican restaurant. The prices were very good. Should have a $ sign rather than the $$-$$$ shown.The chicken enchiladas with the green sauce were excellent. I will be trying several other menu items next visit. Lupi is the pleasant mexican lady of the establishment. They prepare the food right when ordered. Perhaps, if a group came in and ordered the same time it may appear to take longer than the larger more formal mexican restaurants. My wife and I did not feel we waited long for our food. Which by the way we watch being prepaired. With the new remodel one probably will not be able to see into the kitchen.

Stereotypical fast food American Mex restaurant. They have returned to what I liked back in the late 80's early 90's before corporate greed cut out items like tomato on the low end tacos and other items (still do not do put tomato in the low end bean and cheese burritos).They have some good specials on certain nights of the week, and watching them make the refried beans up, they use bagged dried beans and cook them up in a big cooker, stirring them and a bit of TLC, and the taste is better than certain other main chains.Seniors get a 10% discount or a drink, which is good for those on a tight budget. In the 6 years of casually eating there, I have only had one or two bad experiences with the workers and mostly high to outstanding service.I am rating this compared to what many folks consider the standard for this type of restaurant, Taco Bell.In many respects it is American Mex fast food, corn taco shells instead of using corn tortillas like a more Mexican place, but they seem to take more pride in what they serve and even the plain bean and cheese burrito is tasty and the vegetables are fresh and the cheese tastes like cheese and not a cheap chemical mixture.

The food is great here. If you like Cafe Rio, then you will like Bajio. The only thing about this place is that it feels like it is a copy cat of Cafe Rio. The inside of the restaurant and the menu are very similar. If you are in the area it is worth trying.

The Homewrecker burrito at Moe's is really delicious. It's different than other places because they have peppers, onions and mushrooms that have been sauteed, along with lots of other yummy toppings. They have good salads too, served in a big fried tortilla. There are free chips and salsa with every order and their salsa bar is pretty good. I like to mix the pineapple and tomatillo salsa together.

The location here has yummy salad. If you are looking to experience something different than Cafe Rio give Chipotle a try. Chipotle is not my favorite restaurant, but when I do go the food is really good and full of flavor.If you are watching your calories you can get a pork salad for 700 calories compared to Cafe Rio salad which is more like 1400 calories. Good size portions not too big, just right.

Wasn't sure what to expect but I was hungry and craving some Mexican food. Cafe Rio's concept is like Chipotle except the food is way better. They offer homemade tortillas for their entrees which include burritos, enchiladas, and tacos etc. You choose your meat, toppings and sides which I found to all be outstanding. I personally would prefer the pico to be a little spicier but it was still tasty. Was also impressed that they top with romaine rather than iceberg lettuce. Full meal and a drink for under $12! Plenty of parking. Will definitely come back.

I am kind of weird about my Mexican food in that I am from New Mexico and we have New Mexican food here (amazing green and red chile sauces - Mexican food with an Indian influence) and I usually prefer it to straight Mexican food. I have seen this restaurant for over 20 years and have never stopped in to eat here, until now. I really had a craving for guacamole salad with chips and, after looking at their menu on their website, saw several entrees that looked good.They bring complimentary chips, salsa and refried beans to your table. Both the salsa and beans make wonderful dips and a great appetizer in themselves, but, I wanted guacamole too! It was amazing - a huge, delicious serving for a good price. My husband and I decided to split an entree because of all the appetizers we ate. We had the Ultimate Fajitas which featured steak, chicken and shrimp, with all the typical fajita accompaniments (sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, cheese and tortillas). They were delicious - tender chicken and steak and nice sized shrimp with tons of flavor. Also included were refried beans and Spanish rice - a lot of food, so we were glad we decided to share. We had no room for dessert but noticed they do have fried ice cream and sopapillas - two excellent Mexican treats. I definitely will be returning!

We've been here a few times with family. The margaritas are good, and the chips are usually hot with spicy salsa. You do have to ask about how hot the entrees are because this place looves spicy!

We had an exceptional experience at this family restaurant. We had a small wait because of the number of people in our party, but was very accommodating and the service was excellent. The food, depending if you like Mexican food, is a great place to take your family and kids. The salsa and chip bar is a favorite with people that like to snack on chips and salsa.
