Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Kittery. Sitting at the southernmost corner of Maine, Kittery is a charming small town and one of the most historic communities in the state. First settled in 1623, Kittery features some of the oldest architecture in Maine, including the John Bray House, built back in 1662. Nearby Fort McClary has been guarding the entrance to the Piscataqua River for over 275 years, having been manned through five wars. Another nearby attraction is York's Wild Kingdom, the state's largest zoo and amusement park.

The front part of the restaurant is order at the counter. If you keep going to the left, there is a bar area and past that is a dining room. By far the best, reasonably priced Mexican food in the area! Pickled onions on fish tacos. Yum! They are also very active in the community <3Thank you for your kind words, Amanda! We are blessed to be celebrating 15 years in the seacoast.

The worst glob of fajitas?? stew?? Chicken was unrecognizable. The onions and peppers were mushy, as if they were in a crock pot for a week. The food was inedible. I have eaten at many, many mexican restaurants and this was the worst by far.The Fajitas were served on a plate, a glob of onions, peppers, and I think chicken, but it was hard as a stone. The tortillas and lettuce were ok to eat!!Never again......Thank you for letting us know how we're doing. We gladly receive any feedback, good or bad, and believe it is the best way to grow our business. I apologize that you were less than thrilled about our fajitas on your most recent visit and will be using your review as an example to further train our back of house staff. We truly hope that while you were dining here you brought it to either your server or bartenders attention as we are more than willing to fix any mistakes that may occur. Thank you again for the comments and we hope that you return to Agave Dos to give us another try.

We enjoyed everything. Classic Mojito and Coconut Mojito were very tasty and refreshing on a very hot day! For dinner my husband had the fried shrimp. The shrimp and fries were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. My daughter enjoyed her shrimp tacos and said the mango salsa was great! I had shrimp fajitas which came with 4 tortillas and was accompanied by more then enough veggies, cheese etc.

The menu selection for build your own and suggested tacos are intringing. A lot of options with potential for excellent flavor profiles; however, the delivered products did not live up to the menu or our expectations, less flavor, smaller portions, and the tacos were not Crisp/Crunchy, but instead were rather soggy and needed more seasoning. Overall the experience was slightly below average and if considering the price, enjoyment/$, we would have been better off just getting taco bell. ~6/10 tacos I've had would be better than these and ~7/10 are better than Taco Bell tacos. They were not bad, but they definitely were not good either. I do not intend on returning nor would I recommend it to others. I will continue to follow reviews and see if their product significantly improves before giving them a second chance.
