This was our fourth visit, this time for breakfast (although breakfast is served all day). Every meal has been perfection.This morning I had Chilaquiles with their legendary, flaminâ spicy green salsa. Doesnât get any better.My wife had a bacon breakfast burrito and loved it.What a treat.

Small place tucked next to the CVS/Albertson. Our host/server was super friendly. We were given chips and salsa to munch on as we perused the menu. The salsa was delicious - a bit spicy. We ordered the chimichanga and enchilada. Both were delicious, including the rice and refried beans. They were served really quickly. Come hungry as the meal was very filling.

It is the best to have a reservation during the "high" season as Casa Mendoza Restaurant is generally very busy from December through April. The owner Ramiro Mendoza is a hands-on owner and long term restauranter. We have dinner here several times during the season for the last few years. Casa Mendoza serves the best "skinny" Cadillac Margarita. Angel, JP & their bartender colleagues do a great job. Entrees are tasty, delicious and consistent in quality. Generally service is very good.

We enjoy Armando's. The people are pleasant and very helpful. The food is fresh, prepared correctly and very tasty. The margaritas are well prepared. We like them on the tart side and they do a great job accommodating our needs. My favourite appetizer is the grills calamari. It is a large portion with large pieces of calamari. The dipping sauce is delicious with a nice tang. The bacon wrapped strips are also an excellent starter. So with good food and drinks the patio overlooking el Paseo is an excellent way to people watch or catch one of the frequent car parades or other events on el Paseo.

On vacation and went for dinner. First, the service was very good. Felix could not have been more attentive and friendly. Really made us feel special. Very good food. The guacamole, and everything else for that matter, could not have very more fresh. Including the cold margaritas and Miller Lite! Was in a party of 6 with two little ones. Everyone liked their food. I had the carnitas entree and it was delicious. The band was very good, and friendly, and the kids loved going on the dance floor. Highly recommend.

My wife and I came here for dinner last night. The food and service were both above average. We were greeted and taken to our seats when we walked in. Our server Victor took our drink orders right away and before he had a chance to bring us our drinks another person brought us fresh chips and salsa. The chips were not salty and tasted fresh and the salsa had a fire-roasted tomato base and had some bite to it but was not overpowering and was quite good. My wife had to seafood fajitas and I had braised short ribs. The food is made fresh when you order and from where we were seated we could watch them prepare our food. Victor came by a couple of times to let us know that they were working on our order. It was worth the wait for the meal my ribs were very tender and had an ancho chile base which was very flavorful and easy to eat. The portion size was just right for us. We had the Tres Leche for desert with our meal and it was the best that I have ever had. We will going again next time I want a great meal for a special occasion. Coming from an area with good mexican food notably missing, whenever we travel, we search for good places and this was SUPER! Jose was great, attentive without bothering. We were greeted and seated quickly, had excellent margaritas quickly. Ordered guacamole which ranks up with the best we've had, and we used to live in Texas.. Fajitas, both chicken and beef just great!! Beans, great. Portions, big.. Totally enjoyed and will be back our next trip, even referred them to the relatives we were visiting who had yet to go...

A very traditional Californian Mexican Restaurant that welcomes large groups or small . The same serving staff have been there for years and their menu is absolutely reliable. The medium sized Margarita is just lovely but for the connoisseur the selection of Tequilas is good and they will make recommendations if you request help. Fajitas are just superb but so far everything we have tried has always been fresh and tasty.
