The food was awesome the service was amazing again for many of us regulars the restaurant went through a tough. Will service it appears those days are behind them and everything was absolutely spot on!

My wife and I visited last night at my suggestion and we were both impressed. Quick, friendly service was very good, provided by what we assumed to be the patriarch. Chips and salsa were brought immediately, both of which were excellent. I can't tell you how many times we've eaten at other local restaurants offering chips and salsa, only to have the chips be greasy to the point of inedible. Not so here! We had two baskets! My wife ordered her go-to dish, tacos de carne asada, I had chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. Both plates were accompanied by rice and beans. High quality ingredients, freshly prepared, served piping hot is all you want in a local Mexican eatery. We both enjoyed it very much and will be back.

I used to love this place. We live 60 miles away, and usually found it worth the effort. We liked the tacos well enough to overlook the brusque service. Lately, the staleness of the food is on a par with the service. The food seems to have been made so far in advance it has no life left in it. Forget getting something freshly prepared. That's why the food comes so fast. I recently asked for, and offered to pay extra for, a cheese enchilada with some onion inside. What I got was the same old dry enchilada with no improvement. It would have taken two seconds to execute a fresh enchilada for me, but noooooo! Years ago, we met the owner, but haven't seen him in ages. Maybe he should spend more time there? I will never know if he does...

Our groups first time here. Came in for lunch. Only two other tables were occupied. Large, bright restaurant. Service was adequate, but not very friendly or attentive. Salsa had no flavor. Food had no flavor. Guacamole looked as if it came out of a bag. No cilantro, onions, tomatoes, or spice; only pureed guacamole. Chicken fajitas tasted precooked, but assembled in the kitchen. Would not return.
