I would recommend to any visitor, please go to another restaurant! the food was average, the user-friendly but hopeless indeed overwhelmed and not able to take criticism! The waiting time was very long. On the terrace was only 1 steward at work for approx. 40 guests!?!Conclusion: sorry folks, but never again!!

The restaurant has a long family tradition and today it is even better than before. It is located on the main road leading along the coast from Rijeka to Labin and Pula, with its own parking. The food is homemade, fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. A great choice for a nice meal in the atmospheric dining room!

We stoped by for lunch, because the Restaurant and the garden looked very nice to us.Service is friendly but slow.And the food, what could one say about it???Product quality is very poor and cheap........The cook should better be aware that itâs not necessary to kill animals twice and frequently change the oil in his frier!!!Pricing is cheap, but not even worth it!A clear NOGO for us! My husband and I are here a number of times during our stay at Ripenda Verbanci and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly family service - young waitress is married to the chef who's parents own it. Food was very tasty with a good selection of fare but not so much choice that you are overwhelmed. The truffle steak was absolutely gorgeous. We had never tasted truffles before and the taste of this meal was fantastic. Istrian potatoes ( cooked with onions and bacon) compliment perfectly.Lovely homemade Apple and poppyseed strudle was also an unusual but tasty new dessert for us.The only downside would be the mosquitoes in the evening as the tables outside are under trees. V pretty but you need repellent.

We were here on a very busy evening and unfortunately we had to sit inside. But in spite of this we were all very satisfied! Although it was busy the service was quick and friendly and we were certainly not disappointed in the pizzas. We all had different pizzas and everybody was clear that their pizza was the best :). I tried the spicy one and this I can recommend if you like spicy food.

Our family stayed here for lunch during our trip to Croatia. The restaurant is within a short walk (1 min) from the main square and parking places, along the side of the city walls. Stunning scenery and slightly more quiet than the restaurants in the city square. Plenty of staff to serve people and our waiter was very attentive and fast with assistance. Good selection of various dishes and price still good for your wallet. Our family had ham and cheese as starters, gnocchi and beef, and chicken for the main dish. We enjoyed the place very much and picked up ice cream as we walked off to see the town of Labin. Would we come here again? Yes, absolutely.

We visited this restaurant for an evening meal. The tables were beautifully laid & the waiters were very polite & helpful. We had a table upstairs & outside which gave a great view of the square. Good choice of meals - would definitely recommend cuttlefish risotto & beefsteak strogonoff. Very reasonably priced. Booking essential.

We had:beefsteak (140kn) - excellentseabass with celery pure and truffle ( over 100kn) - was good although very under seasonedpasta with truffle (100kn) - pasta not nice, tough, sauce also not very nice, we had much nicer and tastier pasta with truffles for 70kn in Labin.raviolli with foie gras (115kn) - really not good, also tough, there was no taste of foie gras, disapointmentchocollate souffle - it was NOT souffle, but lava cake, not very nice, too sweet, not very chocolaty and basically chocolate sauce as cooked too littlesweet raviolli - TWO TINY raviolli (of course tough), with quark inside swimming in a sweet sauce sprinkled with ground walnutsI really hoped to like the meal...

Everything is prepared with attention to the smallest detail, the service is welcoming and kind, elegant atmosphere, but the main protagonist is the quaity of the food. Some dishes could appear 'simple' but Restaurant Peteani will surprise you no matter what. You can have a proper dinner starting fron 30 Euro and easily go higher, but it worth till the last cent!
