Definitely one of best restaurants in Stone town. Food was very delicious and tasty, they offer all kind of cheeses, ham, prosciutto which is very hard to find on Zanzibar. Wine was very good with fair prices. Staff friendly and professional.In total we enjoyed it a lot.If you are staying in Stone town, this is definitely place you must visit.

Very good restaurant We were very well looked after and advised by Ino her manager. They made us a seafood platter and several tasting dishes, very well presented and very good quality. Very good room, it is located in front of the beach of Kiwengwa.I recommend it one hundred percent.

We have been here both for breakfast and dinner and we were extremely satisfied. Breakfast has a nice menu selection and fresh juices. Dinner offers tapas menu which has great choice of delicious seafood and tropical cocktails. You also have a DJ playing some nice music in the evening which creates a good vibe. Definitely a place to visit even if you don't stay at Melia hotel.

Stopped in for lunch with colleagues, generally an ex-pat sort of hang out. Ordered the mixed-seafood tagliatelle, excellent flavors, but oddly lacked any "whole" looking seafood, mostly chopped. Also got to taste two different pizzas, both really good but could have been a bit crispier. They tended to both be a bit heavy on the toppings making the center crust soggy. Friendly staff, nice inside and out.

Ambiance was nice, but the food taste was disappointing, as I heard good reviews earlier before coming. Food was overcooked. I asked for sea food plater, everything in that was overcooked, so much so that the food tasted absolutely bad. Lobster was of low quality. I hope they improve on the food part, I might not come come again .Dear speedbird7, Thank you for your comments regarding our ambience. Absolutely amazing food. The ceviche was probably the best I had outside Central America. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly.It is a bit dark so you donât really see what you are eating, but we the tastes were outstanding.Highly recommendable!

Discovered this place accidentally on a review site. It is walking distance from anywhere on Nungwi Beach really - just ask a local and they will either point you in the right direction or walk you! Just past Istanbul Restaurant on the beach to the left, as Google Maps doesn't give an accurate location. Great energy! Great staff -- super friendly! Great fries! Great fresh drinks! The smoothies are tasty. The ceviche was delicious - tuna and mango!

We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we had really nice food and service. The fish is fresh, tasty and well cooked and all the ingredients are locals, showing that is an ethic business. We really appreciate that they donât use too many plastic bottles encouraging the clients to get the jar of water to reduce plastic pollution. Everything is home made, even the pasta, which is amazing. We stayed at the hotel next to it so for us was perfect but the nice thing is that we could see many many people from other hotels in the area coming to have dinner at the Bistrò! The owners Salvatore and Roberta take care of every little thing and they make sure that every details is perfect. The location is elegant and modern with a touch of Zanzibar style. The service is friendly and fast (something difficult to find in Zanzibar)! Prices are really good especially for quality of the food and location. We had such a great time and great food! Your words are so sweet like you, dear francy.....We try to do our best every day to give a good service to the guests and we are so happy to host guests from all the hotels of Kendwa and also from other cities.
