this is a very friendly, down to earth place with a beautiful view to the small harbor and on the hill begin you can see the castle and I was there for sunset and it was particularly beatuiful. it has a small menu, but it seems to changer regularly. it definitely a selection of particular dishes I would not have expected in a kind of small town like würzburg. I took the starters kinkerlitzchen, which is a mixture of many surprising small dishes and completely loved it.there seems to always be a good choice of vegetarian dishes but I had fantastic roast beef and great homemade lemonade.what I really like is the love for details: nothing is ready made and almost all of the produce seem to come from ver particular small farmers, bakers, fruit brandy makers, wine makers etc. if you go there, make sure to ge the information about it and you will be amazed.

Amazing food! I can see the chef baking the pizza through the open-kitchen. The pizza is served right hot from the oven filled with melted cheese. The pizza contains a lot of toppings, giving mouthful of flavors. Both pastas are rich and cheesy as well~ Amazing service! Although there is only the owner and the chef serving in the shop, they are all very friendly. They allow us to change the toppings on the pizza, the chef even asked us if we wanted oregano in our pasta! Amazing price! We ate a pizza and 2 pastas with 4 drinks, but only paid â¬30! Definitely would recommend people coming, the exterior of the restaurant may not look that attractive but the FOOD is AMAZING, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE!

Enjoyable evening. Food was delicious, the service was friendly and fast, and the place is clean.The bill was reasonable. The wine and the beers selection could use a boost. The one minor drawback was that some if the waiters have a smoking habit and they do so in front of the restaurant door - which to a smoker might be a turn off. For me it was not, and I will return to this fine establishment.

We enjoyed our lunch here last week after visiting the Residence in Wurzburg. Pizza and pasta were delicious. The service was excellent. It was a nice change to have great Italian after a lot of traditional German meals. Atmosphere was cozy and warm.It's a short walk from the old town center and river side. Highly recommend!

My daughter, partner and grandson stopped for a drink & lunch. We had 3 dogs with us and thankfully the garden was very comfortable with rugs and table and chairs overlooking the river, parkland and bridge. A very helpful waitress was attentive and patient with our lack of German. The pizza was good and very generous. Ammenities were clean and serviceable.

This family run restaurant is located in a quiet part of the old town, and the food is excellent. In summer, the seating outside is one of the nicest places...no traffic and cobblestone streets. The specials are particularly recommended, the pasta al dente and pizza good. Definitely worth a visit.

Went with 5 other friends on a Saturday night. Not one of us ordered anything from the menu - just from the daily specials. The chef even had a few things that weren't on that card (mussels in a great tomato sauce), so it pays to ask.Wine list was short but what we had was good.Prices average for Würzburg. Really looking forward to next time - recommend to book.

With German friends we got really good service here. Also veal was really perfectly cooked. However, I was surprised to notice my pizza was not that great. Quatro formaggi had tasty cheeses, which lot compensated the fact that bottom was bit raw - which gave some unpleasant reminders later. On Italian restaurant You don't expect to see mistakes on that kind of basic things.

Angelo is an entertaining host, very kind! High Level of hospitality. The food was very fresh. We had the dorade and the grilled meat. Excellent! The pizza is also very teastfull. If you want good food for a good price go here!!

Iâve now lived in Würzburg for the best year and have visited this restaurant around 10 times and have never been anything but satisfied. The waiters are very nice and treats you well. Can definitely recommend to everybody, and I have brought everyone whoâs come to visit me here and theyâve also been thoroughly satisfied. Can especially recommend the Bresaola with Truffle and Parmesan
