We have been coming here for the past 10 years and eating here numerous times during our stays in the village of Tisens. The place is one of our most favourite places ever. Not one time have we been disappointed. The Pizza is legendary, pasta and meat dishes to the point. And don't get me started on the deserts... yummy...The staff is always very accommodating and friendly though the place is extremely busy most of the times (reserve a table !). Even odd requests are not frowned upon but granted with a smile. We can highly recommend this place.

An unusual find in Suedtirol: US and Argentinian beef. The owner's passion for his product can be felt in every aspect of this restaurant. We always have lunch at this restaurant when we're passing through Rablà and it never disappoints.We started with 2 glasses of prosecco and the smoked cold meats plate, then as it was asparagus season we had asparagus with salmon steak and asparagus with ham and new potatoes, served with the wonderfil Bolzaner sauce, we washed this down with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and finished with a chocolate parfait and a creme brulèe. Total bill with water and coffee â¬112.20 worth every penny.

A beautifully restored restaurant with quality furnishings. Not a very large menu but most dishes were of good quality and size. Excellent friendly and attentive service. We found this restaurant after a beautiful drive up the mountain from Merano and Cermes. The food was excellent and the dining experience very satisfying. The waiter mentioned he doesn't get to speak English very often which we interpreted as that not too many Americans find this wonderful restaurant. For a Monday night it was very busy. Menu in German and Italian but we know just enough of Italian to make wise choices. Appetizers, entrees, wine, coffee was 110⬠for two.

Another perfect dinner at this Locanda (see my previous reviews). Standouts this time were a 'creme caramel' with fresh local mushrooms and sweetbreads, a pig cheek braised in beer (incredibly deep flavour), and a pistachio ice-cream. But also delicious were torlelloni (well) filled with local herbs and confit cherry tomatoes, a Guinea fowl with recurrant and a cream of celeriac, and the evergreen chocolate and coffee dessert.It's hard to think of another place in the region that so well tells the story of tradition and locla ingredients, but that at the same time has embraced modernity. The room is charming as ever, service led by signor Danilo in the room is excellent, and both food and wine prices make this place incredible value for money.

I took my parents there for their 56th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very nice (I would avoid eating in the "stube"), very typical Tyrolean. The service was extraordinary and the food exceptional. I actually found it difficult to choose just one starter, one main course and one desert. The wine recommended was perfect and it was one of the more reasonably priced one. Book well in advance

âI Love This restaurant â family run place with nice folks,this exciting venue offers a real down-home made experience. Everything here is handmade same day, the quality is fabulous that means a lot to me. The chef owner Anna work alone, very hard, producing intelligent, delicate food in courses that come at you in lovely waves The service very courteous and extremely knowledgeable Owner Luis and daughter make your experience just excellent I'm a wine lover they have a fantastic selection of wines from the region südtirol as well international outwards. We had seen reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to make a reservation. The restaurant itself is very appealing and beautifully decorated. The service from the seating to the check was outstanding. Without being obtrusive our waitress was there to give more water, bread and even more ice without ever asking. The owner dropped by to make sure all was to our liking. The food was well prepared with fresh and locally grown vegetables. The pasta was cooked just right, the specials were unusual combinations, but perfect to the taste. Our party has risotto, lasagna and shrimp. Every dish was exception. Each table is decorate with a basket of fruit. The owner brought us some cherries as well. We were offered an after dinner drink but passed on dessert(too full). I guarantee you will not be disappointed..
