Had two great meals at Balabite. Fresh, healthy and tasty. Fantastic pies made from pitta dough. Super friendly staff. Itâs more or less a takeaway with a few tables. Really good value food. We wish there was a Balabite in our city. This is a vibrant restaurant with great staff and service and is located in a great eating area tucked away in Townsville. Unfortunately our food was not a pleasure to eat considering the cost.We ordered the arancini balls for entree which were coated in salt and tasteless and the tagliatelle seafood pasta in tomato and white wine sauce.The seafood was very overcooked and chewy and the pasta was dry due to the little existance of sauce.Overall the dining experience was nice but the food was a big let down.

Great food, the big breakfast was to die for. BUT, the staff here were just the best, the service was done with a smile, was efficient and definitely they had a warm and friendly attitude. Clean and tidy, not rushing you to eat, relaxed and stress less dining. Wonderful. Will return again and again. Thank you and your staff.
