Selva is a coastal comarca (county) in Catalonia, Spain, located between the mountain range known as the Serralada Transversal or Puigsacalm and the Costa Brava (part of the Mediterranean coast). Unusually, it is divided between the provinces of Girona and Barcelona, with Fogars de la Selva being part of Barcelona province, and all other municipalities falling inside Girona province. Also unusually, its capital, Santa Coloma de Farners, is no longer among its larger municipalities, with the coastal towns of Blanes and Lloret de Mar having far surpassed it in size.

We visited this restaurant in september and it was absolutely amazing! The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is super nice. Great value for money. It does definitely help if you have a bit of knowledge of spanish. However, the host does his very best to make sure you understand what's in the dish! Will definitely be back!

Cycled past on way back from monastery Lluc.We needed a coffee, so stopped at sa Tafona de Caimari. Service fantastic and amazing coffee, delicious croissants. Would realy liked to have returned for dinner.

We went here during the week. The restaurant wasn't full and that was a pity. The service was very helpful and the dishes were excellent. Here we saw a young chef who put his passion for food on our plates. The price for this menu was far too low , that's why I wrote : book a table ASAP.

Lovely restaurant, the food was great (huge sizes and good quality, freshly cooked). The service was also brilliant, very friendly and helpful and willing to explain the different plates. We had a great evening here and would definately return.

Joan Marc is without doubt Inca's real top chef. This was our 4th visit and the restaurant and Joan Marc's cooking just gets better and better. The menu features plenty of local ingredients, treated with respect and all the dishes we tried on the evening were perfectly executed but not over complicated with unnecessary garnishes. Very friendly family run restaurant. We sat in their terrace garden with some great (for my taste!) 'oldies' rock/pop music playing softly in the background.The owner/waiter (daughter chef in kitchen) is a non-english speaker and the menu handwritten daily in a notebook (there is only 1) in Spanish. With Google, phrase book and a bit of pointing at other tables we sorted out our order.The food was delicious, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced.We had a lovely evening there.

Make sure you book for a Saturday night, although the staff were so helpful and accommodated us - restaurant ambience is traditional majorcan style, excellent food and the waiters were so friendly, smiling all the time. Facu the manager had a great sense of humour and remembered our food selection from the night before - that's what i call good service!

This was our second visit. The first time was lunch and we shared a starter and desert and had main dishes each. Remarkable valueSecond time the the smaller of the tasting menus. Very good indeed. Noted the wine mark up relatively modest. Outstanding food and nothing we had ever eaten elsewhere.

Desayuno excelente con ingredientes de primera.Decoración exquisita con mucho gusto que hace que te sientas muy a gusto. La única pega, y quizás sea mas personal es que no tienen cafetera profesional y no soy muy fan de Nespresso, pero por lo demás MUY BIEN
