we had a lovely stay in casale dei Lauri this summer. the meals were great and very copious; almost everthing was produced locally. the room was nice and clean. Ciro was very helpful, and our daughter had a great time riding one of the horses of the farm. we will certainly return here.

Un sabato sera trascorso con gli amici. In questo locale è come sentirsi a casa in tutti i sensi. Dall'accoglienza dei proprietari ai sapori dell ottima cucina che riscopre le vecchie tradizioni. Bravi continuate così. Ci ritorneremo presto.

We stayed and ate here for 1 night on our way South from Naples.The food was terrific from start to finish with wonderfully fresh ingredients combined to make beautiful dishes and there were several different dishes.A lovely evening of delightful food was washed down nicely with lovely local wine and all this is the very picturesque garden and terrace setting of the property.Service was also very pleasant with the owner spending time with us to explain the food and some history and culture which was very much appreciated.We had an absolutely delicious and plentiful meal and a great experience.

Tonino is a fantastic chef, entertainer, and personality. His meals are always impeccably cooked, thoughtful, and celebrate with gustatory joy all that southern Italy has to offer. Each meal we had at his restaurant was an epic and memorable experience, one that makes me simultaneously happy and sad that I might never get to enjoy it again.

Went there with my family. It was a wedding.Lovely place in the countryside and the foodwas very good. Unfortunately the service wasDisappointing. It was a buffet but people were left standing for too long as it took staff time before drinks and food were refilled at the table.

Ottimo pranzo di battesimo abbondante. Sopratutto gli antipasti con le verdure sono fantastici. I primi buoni e anche la carne davvero buona, sopratutto il pollo. Câera moltissima gente quindi câè stato molto caos però è un ambiente per famiglie quindi si sa che in queste occasioni si trova caos. Consigliato !

My husband and I were hungry after the grotte tour (worth the hour!) and this unassuming little place was right there, so we thought weâd at least get something convenient, if not particularly notable. We were so pleasantly surprised!! Delicious, inexpensive, good vegetarian and/or non-pasta options. The homemade walnut(?) gelato with the homemade fig drizzle was amazing. And Michele Iorio, our host, was so nice and helpful - recommending a local swimming hole (Ischia di Pietra Tonda) and a visit to the town of Castelcivitas (both were great finds unmentioned in our guidebooks!). We came back two days later with our extended family tour group for a second meal! Just as good!!Katie & Josh,thank you very much for coming and for coming back with the rest of the family. We are glad to know you were pleasantly surprised by us. Castelcivita has a lot to offer and we feel satisfied of our advice: you enjoyed everything we suggested. Delicious! The food was great, all pasta cooked in house. Rafaelo, the owner, speaks English, and helped us understand the menu and made excellent recommendations.
