We decided to take advantage of âLetâs Eat! Englewoodâ specials at nearby restaurants. The dinners are $25 for 3 courses. For our appetizers we ordered the hummus, the best weâve had; and falafels- not something weâve eaten before, they were crispy and delicious. The entree selection was good : I ordered the chicken kabobs- they were cooked perfectly, the rice was great but we did not like the salads they served with our meals. Our fault we do not eat cucumbers and shouldâve asked for a salad without. There was enough food but I wouldâve liked some vegetables. My spouse ordered the swordfish - said the flavor was good but the size was smallish. The dessert we had a choice of 3 and ours was - EXCELLENT - the Chio Gelato was soooo good, we both had the chocolate and it certainly was chocolately and creamy - yum. Our server was friendly, informative and efficient. We will return.

Coming to the restaurant is an absolute joy! As soon as you walk in you are welcomed, everyone on staff is always wonderful and friendly with us!And the owner is always super friendly and warm and accommodating!!! And if you are lucky enough he and has guitars will serenade the room with awesome music and songs!The food is delicious, and they usually have a daily special which is always nice.Having dinner here is a wonderful experience and a real joy!!!!

In November, 2018, I wrote a negative review of the breakfast experience we had at Jospeh's Deli. We were utterly disappointed with our simple breakfast. The owner replied to our review apologizing and asking us to come back...he was very apologetic and assured me this was not the "norm". We were not looking for a complimentary meal..so last week - we stopped in for breakfast - unannounced...and I am pleased to say that Joseph's Deli delivered the goods!!! We had an excellent breakfast with steaming hot coffee and delicious bacon and eggs. I think in November we caught them on an off day - which of course could happen to any one..and could have been for many reasons...we will however officially apologize and say - we will return to Joseph's in the future and have not lost faith. Try it folks - you'll enjoy the breakfast, the price and the amiable people who own and run it. They do care about their customers!

The service was the only thing to get a favorable nod from me. The decor was from 1973 and well worn. The menu was quite extensive and leaves one wondering what would be their signature dish? It's time for updates and I fail to see why this is favorable for many to praise.
