Even though we arrived late in the evening, our dinner was superb, we actually didn't even expect dinner as we had booked a room there for one night. We will surely go back whether only for a quick stop or an overnight one.

Damini has a very good name for its butchery and its delicatesses. It is a modern paradise for food shoppers. but when visiting its restaurant it was a dissappointing dinner. Not that staff wasn't friendly and nice, also the owner was a nice person. The ambiente was nice too. However the food ordered (steak in a butchery!) was nothing special. It came along as a fairly small piece of beef in a sauce with no taste. The beef itself not to the level you have a Fiorentina or Filet in any standart trattoria. Everyone of us was dissappointed. And at end you pay a luxury price for the meal. I was not paying but if I had I would have some instant comments for the owner.

One of the best restaurants in the Veneto. Great salumi (some home made) to begin, then some of the best homemade pasta around, followed by unique dishes like baby goat liver or fantastic grilled meats, that are brought to the table before cooking. Deserts are also excellent, my favorite being orange ice cream with orange sauce. The restaurant also has an excellent wine list. I have been going there for 10 years and the food is consistently excellent.

Take a family who love what they do, are welcoming and justly proud of their cooking, an area which produces some of the most distinctive wines in Italy, a chilly Sunday lunchtime, and cosy, open fire restaurant full of cheery people. What can go possibly go wrong ?

La Peca is one of best examples of âhaute cuisineâ you can have in nowadays Italy. Everything is sophisticated and top level. First of all, the restaurant, modern and beautifully located in the Veneto countryside: you may enjoy a pleasant view of the Berici Mountains from the large windows. Furniture is pure design, with a tasteful combination of several modern designers, including stylish chairs by Philippe Stark. Food is supreme. Difficult to describe the ever changing menu, which ranges from appetizers to primi piatti and includes with the same taste and creativity both fish and meat. We are at the top of Italian cousine and you see it and you feel it. It is also a visual experience. Nothing to recommend in particular, and all to be recommended: how can you possibly recommend perfection? Just be tempted by the set menu âOre 12â which gives you a flavor of different types of dishes. Wine list is in line with the quality of the food. La Peca is at the top end of the market and does not come cheap. However for the sophisticated traveler with a passion for the haute cuisine it is an experience not to be missed. Simply one of the top restaurants all throughout Italy

Staying in Montecchia. This small restaurant has a limited menu but it is SO good! We had bruschetta and a variety of veggie pastas (they had meat items, too) that were delicious and fresh. Desserts are small, wine is pretty local and reasonable. Lots of locals hanging out at the outdoor tables. Would definitely come back here.

Siamo stati qui per un apericena fatta con amici. La lista vini è copiosa e ben assortita. I piatti sono di ottima qualità dai taglieri alle vellutate, dalla carne al pesce. Il servizio buono. Il locale un poâ piccolo e per trovare posto meglio prenotare. Merita una visita.

Since I was there as a wedding guest it was a special occasion but the food was delicious and the service was very good. I only got a quick look at the wine room but it was stocked with locally produced wines. The house itself was newly renovated and it felt fresh (with 34 degrees in the air the AC was also a hit). Wow, what a beautiful restauarant. Looks like everyone involved here.Can't really fault the food but it did just not life up to expectations. Disco like type music doesn't fit the setting.Very impressive wine list which is a positive!
