The dinner was really great. We were advised by the owner (very friendly, competent and present in the room) for both food and wine and we were absolutely satisfied. From the 4 mixed appetizers to the main course each course was delicious, original with particular combinations that have enhanced the raw materials. Excellent also the desserts. Reluctantly I can not give top marks because unfortunately the room is really too small and noisy and if I can make a small criticism, the presence of 3 groups of more than 5 people each perhaps is exaggerated by the possibilities of the room inside. I think it's worth rediscovering it in the summer.

Really lovely regional food served with a smile.We enjoyed the roast beef (thinly sliced on rocket), chicken (Marco Polo style), risotto marinara, margarita pizza, mixed salad. Everything was lovely: tomatoes sweet and ripe, motzarella fresh and sumptuous. Simple but gorgeous. Solid wine list. Highly recommended.

Grazie. Capitare quasi per caso in un locale a pranzo e rimanere piacevolmente stupiti è ormai un evento raro. Il Cerchio è un vero e proprio bistrot, pochi tavoli e minimali ma curati nei dettagli. Personale gentile e cordiale, titolare-chef creativo e professionale. Abbiamo iniziato con una favolosa pizza gourmet, dove la straordinaria lievitazione la rende leggera e digeribile come una nuvola, ma finemente complessa nel gusto. Da lì in poi un vortice di emozioni culinarie come il riso al Parmigiano Reggiano con katsuobushi e sashimi di sgombro fresco che completa la sua cottura con il calore della portata. Carta dei vini in piena evoluzione ma già molto interessante con ampio spazio per i naturali. Dessert creativi ed innovativi. Rapporto qualità /prezzo più che ottimo (spesso inferiore a proposte di locali del territorio qualitativamente molto meno interessanti). Bene, molto bene.

While on my trip to the Parma Valley I had an opportunity to visit Azienda Agricola Bertinelli,My first impression upon entering was the immediate attentions of staff, A thing that continued across the board.I learned that this extremely adventurous venue which one can only describe as "An Oasis of Excellence from the start to the finish of my experience there was in fact a continuation of the Bertinelli Dairy Dynasty by family members,A perfect example for me as a business woman of a family "Embracing the Future and change.The food was delicious and beautifully presented and was described to me by a very well informed member of staff that the Parmigiano-Reggiano served with many delicious local meats was produced from the first sixty days milk.A wonderful meal followed by live entertainment.I understand that further growth has taken place and would most definitly put it on my "To do again list without hesitation.Another very handy feature was it,s proximity to Hotels .. Literally five minutes walk from Bertinelli enabling me to return to acqiure some of their beautifully presented gifts in the am .For me a most impressive successful on all counts trip to their amazing "Oasis in the Parma Valley,and I would recommend without hesitation to anyone travelling to this region,also to maybe revive in ones mind that places that may seem the thing of "Dreams can/do in fact exist. Certainly @ Bertinelli anyway,Outstanding.

This restaurant is a little gem hidden on Parma hills really worth reaching. Surrounded by stunning landscapes my dinner here exceeded expectations. Food was superb. Attentive service. Young chef is passionate and competent.Excellent local food. Top-notch Wagyu meat. Excellent red wines.Affordable for this kind of superb quality.

This place can be hard to find, located in a half empty neighborhood shopping piazza on the second level. But once inside it is warm and inviting, with large open beam ceiling and large central dining room. Pizzas were great, salads too. Service was fine, but a little slow. They were quite busy on a Thursday night around 8:00.

Not obvious to go to but worth checking out. Enough parking space . Contempary but local interiour. Friendly reception. The menu is not large but what is on it is very good. Made with local products with an own approach. Take a first glass at the bar and enjoy local cheese, torta fritta and salami's. If needed they help you chose and they are not pushing you towards consumption. We hesitated between two 'primi' and they offered to let us taste three versions on one plate . Mmmmmmm. Good fresh food at more than reasonable prices. Try it out ,dear tourists !

We stumbled across this bar when trying to find our B&B-we were starving hungry and the restaurant was not yet open however the bar was busy with locals and the bar manager produced a lovely plate of procuito ham and cheeses and then a slice of roasted vegetable lasagne-delish.-
