Was stopping by Preston for business and decided to have a look for somewhere to have a nice dinner. This place is definitely hit the spot, ambience is nice, homely and friendly staff. Most importantly the food was nice, I ordered the sea bass. The cheese cake was a bit too soft for my like felt like it was melting. Apart from was lovely!

Well what a stunning building that someone has spent alot of money on to only let staff that literally need to change profession. Service couldn't get any slower, no drink for 15 minutes, we ended up walking out and not having our dessert as we waited that long for but nobody offered any apology, the owner really needs to look at new management, tip to anyone try Spread Eagle at Mellor and you'll never return to Lytham againGood morning,I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a very good experience when you visited us. This is probably our 8th meal at Ego, Lytham. Staff are very friendly. Cocktails, 2 for 1, were delish. We had the Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri. Mains were yummy altho I would say my son's medium steak was more rare than it should have been but he still enjoyed it. I had the Lemon Chicken Milanese which was lovely. Pudding was Sticky Toffee for 5 of us and Brownie for my daughter. All were amazing. And a 25% discount makes it even better. Situated on the square with outside seating it is a nice place to relax with a tea or coffee. We only popped in while shopping so cannot comment on the food but the service was quick and friendly

Located on the main square in Lytham St Annes. Met my bestie here for dinner, booked in advance. A very warm welcome from all the staff and felt nice to be expected. My friend was late however the staff checked on me at intervals until she arrived which was a lovely touch.Restaurant was quite busy for a Thursday evening. Plenty of choice on the menu and fair and honest prices. Extensive choice of garlic breads which was nice and had not seen such a vast choice before - ordered two different ones to share that tasted lovely.Main courses were very tasty and plentiful. Well presented and very filling.A very nice restaurant - thoroughly enjoyed my evening and the food here with my friend. Would certainly visit again - recommended.

We were staying at the Travelodge next door and decided to eat here having walked past earlier. There was a good variety of interesting dishes at reasonable prices. My wife had a Crispy Goats Cheese Salad which looked and, I am told, tasted very good. I had the Cassoulet which comes either small or large (I had the small version and was glad I did as it was very filling!) We also shared a starter and had dessert as well.Marek (sorry if I have spelt your name wrong) was our waiter and was very friendly and attentive without being too familiar or overbearing. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the wine was rather expensive costing over £5 each for a medium glass of white wine.!The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant and we really enjoyed our meal and would certainly go there again if we are ever back in the area overnight.

Being in Saint Anneâs Once again I decided to Go back to my favorite Greek restaurant the Greek flame. The original owner unfortunately is no longer with us but the food is definitely up to par and I think he would be pleased with that. My one complaint is that they have an early bird special and itâs on a separate menu. I have dined twice in the last few weeks, the first time with friends the second time alone. Neither time was the early bird menu in the regular menu or offered voluntarily. Because my friends and I were aware of this menu we requested it however, we did notice that the menu was never offered to anyone else. I went this evening by myself and low and behold the early bird menu was not in the menu again I requested it and was given immediately. My point is that unless you know that the restaurant has This menu you do not have a choice. Now if these fellas really donât want to offer this menu then do away with it, Because keeping it a secret is totally out of order.

Absolutely fabulous food. We had the maze between 3 and it was brilliant. Meat was moist and succulent and so flavoursome. The rice was beautiful and the staff was so attentive without being over bearing. I would eat here everyday if I could afford it and it meant my waistline wouldnât suffer!!
