Its population in 2011 was 286 for the village and 787 for the community, which includes the villages Arkoudi, Glyfa, Ioniki and Paralia. Lygia is situated in the low hills of the southern part of the Kyllini peninsula, 3 km from the Ionian Sea. It is 4 km southeast of Kastro, 4 km east of Loutra Kyllinis and 4 km west of Vartholomio.

Fabulous restaurant with a huge choice. You can see the home-cooked meals displayed in a cabinet so you can buy with your eyes! The view is amazing, across to Onassis' islands & Meganissey. There are flowers & candles on every table so the atmosphere is beautiful. Staff are friendly & humorous & the owners, Margarita & her son Dimitri, are very warm & welcoming. Prices are reasonable & you get a free dessert. If you don't have a sweet tooth they will offer you some fruit instead. If you want to try a particular Greek dish then you can go in one day to order it & they will cook it especially for you the following day. All in all very good & they try their best to ensure that you have a great holiday :)

Had it not been for the recommendation of one of our fellow guests at Christina Apartments we would not have given this place a second look. But we are so glad we did! A beautiful, peaceful garden setting, really excellent Greek food and great service. Some unusual dishes on the menu which we thoroughly enjoyed. Prices are reasonable as well. All in all a great find. Thank you Daphni's!

We ate here often - both lunch and dinner. It is a traditional taverna which serves huge portions from a very varied menu. All the food we had was top quality and attractively presented. The prices are very reasonable and the service extremely good. We recommend you try some of the fish dishes as they are terrific! thank you Koutouki!!!

It is hard to find good food and service at the same time. This family business combines both: friendly approach and AMAZING food! All previous reviews are 100% true! Only 5 minutes away from the city of Lefkada (3 km), you will taste the best home-made food! Feel free to ask for the daily specialties (they change it every day) and look forward for the sweet treat in the end! Ideal for families with kids. Would visit again with great pleasure!

We visited this small cozy restaurant and were pleasantly surprised!!! The owners were super nice and very welcoming. The restaurant is located right by the sea, couldnât ask for better location. Food was delicious. I had the sea bass, my husband had the âbakaliaroâ along with a saganaki, xorta and a Greek salad. Everything was delicious. Service was awesome and very attentive. I am so glad we chose this restaurant!!
