Once in CARACAS, security is a concern. This little trattoria, however is in one of the safest places in Caracas. They only accept reservations; not walk ins. Once you arrive in your car, you are greeted by the valet parking, they check your reservation real fast and you are in a small house. Down a short hallway you are in the restaurant. It has an open kitchen and three cooks. They only have a two, five, six and ten sitters. That is just four tables; but that´s what a trattoria is all about. They specialize in Italian food and their pasta is homemade. My wife and I had lentils with prosciutto and pasta for the main course with a bottle of Chianti. No thrill; but honest good food in a cozy tranquil place

This place has an amazing touch of elegance combined with the best Italian dishes money can buy. The hot ceviche is fantastic. The pasta is simply great. The carpaccio is outstanding. The Milanese relentless. Everything is done to perfection with beautiful people from the Caracas Scene. Cannot miss if you are traveling to Caracas.

I just went there couple of weeks ago and was fascinated bye the ambiance, food and service. It's simply a beautiful place to go have lunch or dinner. Totally recommend the meat carpaccio is simply superb. The fish is prepared to perfection and the meat and pasta have also distinguished dishes among the menu. Totally recommend Love it.

Have not been here for several years... This was one of the "old" Spanish restaurants in Caracas. Service is pretty good and they have enough staff. The place is clean and restrooms are also quite clean!valet prking and well located in Las Mercedes District.Now food... Here is where things changed. Our empnada gallega was heated in a microwave! Unacceptable! The octopus was too soft, either over cookd or a tad not fresh! The grilled shrimps and squid, were missing taste, season, and power... They were much better back in the times! Still nice to be back and remember good old days!

Definetely one of the best family oriented restaurants in Caracas. Forget about those booze and drunk filled restaurants all around Las Mercedes area. Food is not bad but don't expect a 2-Star Michellin guide worth venue either. It is what is a lovely place to spend some time with familywhile eeating decent italian food. Price tag is well above average but it is far from being a luxury restaurant.

In general I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. International food not only Italian, makes it easy for pretty much any palate. Good wine list and the possibility of outside sitting without getting sun baked.

The nice decor is like the house of an eccentric grandmother. Eclectic chairs, old saints, mirrors, embroideries. The terrace is very nice with a lot of tropical plants. The food is very inventive, with seasonings from different parts of the world but mostly italian/venezuelan. Their best dishes are the pastas with venezuelan sauces, like ravioli with asado negro. Only once I was disapointed when there was gravlax in the menu and I was served a very bad smoked salmon. Very pleasant, always crowded.

This Spanish restaurant has been around for many, many years and was extremely popular and well attended since they served the freshest fish, seafood and lamb cooked in a superlative way. It was a bit pricey but worth it and hence the assiduous followers.Unfortunately, times have changed, some of their signature dishes are still available but nowhere near as good as in the past. The sea bass pate was still very good but ordered a large red snapper for a party of four and it was served rather cold, dry and overly cooked. The service was very good, snappy and lively.
