Tucked away a few minutes walk from the bustling port is this delightful family run restaurant. In the evening dad was in the kitchen,mum waiting tables and their son (whose English was the best of the 3) explained the menu and provided some recommendations. He even suggested (and rightly so as it turned out) that we had probably ordered too much and removed one of the dishes from our order. Value for money and well worth a visit.

Great food experience and service on first visit. Waiter gave a very good suggestion on a salad over the typical Greek salad. The salad was wonderful, and a meal in itself. Second experience was equally good with the Mediterranean breakfast, huge and very good quality food. Today, one of the same waiters was rude to my wife, floored me! She just wanted a cappuccino and croissant. The waiter brought the cappuccino 1st, while continentally asking for her croissant. They ignored her and she had to have her cappuccino alone. After about 10 to 15 minutes, my meal with my breakfast drink came (both together) along with her croissant which she tried to cancel after having the cappuccino. They wanted to force the croissant on her not listening. Finally, another waiter (not in uniform of the place) came over to tell my wife that it was rude on her part not to let the waiter know ahead of time that she wanted both items together. That was rude, very rude. I must say that I was shocked. The place was very busy, this time on a Saturday brunch hour of around 11:00. My meal was excellent with a great omelette and fresh squeezed orange juice to die for. But, this rude inexcusable behavior killed any chance of us returning to eat there. What a shame and mixed dinning experience.â¤ï¸

We came early afternoon and had a prime table for our lunch overlooking the sea. The food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. This place has an ideal spot - probably perfect at sunset!

Excellent eating experience, great dishes and starters from the chef. The food was absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation. Service was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the meal and the deserts. Definitely upscale in comparison to some of the other local restaurants.Tip: defo try the halva :)

We visited Spilia on the first day of our holidays and have felt compelled to continue coming back due to the wonderful group of people that work hard there to make the experience unparalleled. Christos has been looking after us for the past few days and truly goes above and beyond. We would highly recommend Spilia to anyone that is looking for a lovely place to spend the afternoon in close proximity to the water.

As long as you get a table outside, this is an enchanting and glamorous restaurant with good food and service. Only weak dish was the risotto, poorly executed (wine not cooked off, not risotto rice) but definitely a pleasurable evening for couples and families alike. Doubles up as a yacht club so on some evenings you have to finish by 10 pm or crash the party!

Not a crumb remained on our plates after an outstanding meal at this superb restaurant. The food was extraordinarily good. Even a standard Greek Salad came with unusual and exciting flavours. All of the dishes were marked by individual touches which made them unique. The food is equalled by the stunnng view over the deep blue sea. The service was excellent. And all this for a remarkably modest price. Well worth the 5 minute walk up from the harbour. Absolutely not to be missed.

Lovely fancy little restaurant. However I didnât feel waiters were very helpful . I spoke to the guys in Greek which had no excuse for not understanding my question otherwise food was ok . Lovely atmosphere.

Amazing Italian flavors, maybe the best restaurant in Hydra! The atmosphere is amazing, the art de la table pure italian with beautiful plates! The spaghettis are marvelous, we had the lemon and ginger one which is very light!!!We adore the place and we go their every time we visit the island!
