We spent two nights in Chartres and luckily our concierge recommended us the restaurant Terra. After having a great dinner there, we decided to book a table also for the day after.The food is excellent, the atmosphere is very nice, the staff is friendly and very service-oriented, and finally Giuseppe, the owner and chef, who is a big Juventus-fan, is in my eyes the âAndrea Pirloâ of the restaurant business, truly a magician.....Whenever we are back to Chartres, our choice will only be Terra !!!!

After a long day on the road from the South and after checking into the adjacent Hotel we came here for a quick dinner. We both ordered a large beer and pizza and both came very quickly. The Hotel offers 20%discount off food here so we took advantage of the offer. Rarely when travelling in France do I expect to find it easy to eat out having vegetarian, let alone my preference for vegan! But this little gem not only has great veggie and vegan options at a reasonable price, my very carnivore husband was happy with his plate of Lebanese sausages and chicken.We are outside and found the service very good. While the toilet was clean, the toilet seat on the toilet rather than discarded on the floor might have tipped me over to 5 stars, as it is, I'll go for four!I definitely recommend!
