The quality and the services are very good. Unfortunate the price is significant and some time not consistent. Let's recommend to the Restaurant Owner to make an effort to reduce the price as I' sure this we'll be appreciated and at long term it will pay back. A part the price this is one of the best fish restaurant I have ever seen

La Mimosa is a nice little friendly restaurant conveniently located closed to the church square.Atmosphere and place are comfortable, I have personally found the service managed by our waitress very good, she was professional explaining all the recipes, precise and extremely fast to serve.We all chose different dishes and they weregood despite with no particular tastes or characteristics except for the vegetables fresh and well done.Pasta alla gricia or matriciana was not lokalike the original and there was not wood oven for the Pizza.Desserts were accordingly to the rest of the dinnerGoog afternoon Larai want to say very thankyou for your reference and we hope to have you as a guest again, but i want to specify that we having the wood oven to cook our pizzas and i'm happy to show you if you will.best regardsMatteo P.

We were lucky to get in without a reservation. We showed up at 8 PM and we were the first ones to arrive they gave us a table, but within 30 minutes the place filled. We had pasta for the first course however the most popular dish was the risotto. Next time we come we will definitely try that, but it served only for two people or more. We ordered the elephant ear which was a Milanese veal chop. Was a little dry I wouldn't recommend it. Is a great family run restaurant.

This restaurant is located in a pedestrian area. When you arrive by car you need to find a parking outside this area!When entering the restaurant we almost got a shock.You will look at the Bar and all is looking like in a Pub.Then we have informed the man behind the Bar that we have made a reservation for lunch.At once we got guided to the room behind the Bar located at the rear.There is a separate simple furnished room with some few tables.The ambiance is rustic.Upon arrival a very few guests were sitting there and their barking dog has greeted us.Soon we received the menu and wine list.We ordered Ravioli with Asparagus and a Filetto di Manzo (20,00 â¬), Filet Steak.In addition I have ordered roasted potatoes (al forno, 4,00 â¬).We also ordered a bottle of red wine, Barbaresco, Vallegrande, 38,00 â¬.From the house we received an amuse bouche of good taste.The served bread was home made, fresh and of perfect taste.The potatoes had a bad taste and it was not a good value for money. The steak was average.The Ravioli were fine.The taste of wine was perfect.The toilets were very simple and old fashioned. You need to close the door with a hook.The flushing was on the bottom on the tiles. Stopped in for a quick bite. Nice day, could have sat outside but chose to sit inside. Pleasant interior.Menu had a good selection and there was also a lunch menu available. Service was efficient. I had a mixed seafood dish which was both of good quality and size.Overall a good experience and will go back for dinner.

We decided to have dinner on our last night in Italy at the is restaraunt recommended by our B& B. The pizza I had was excellent (4 Spagani - 4 season is english) which had ham, cheese, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. Thin crust and delicious! My cousin was excited to find vegan options on the menu and was pleased with her first choice of a "frittata". Our waiter Matteo was great- friendly, funny and attentive. He suggested the Tiramisu for dessert and he didn't steer us wrong - it was delicious!

Had dinner at this place one night in May 2016. Food was not the best Italian I've tried, mass produced and not very refined, but staff were friendly and the garden quite pleasant. Very convenient if staying in Somma Lombardo to be near the airport.

Just a few minutes from MXP Airport lies Somma Lombardo, one of the small towns surrounding the airport where many of the "airport hotels" are. Corte Visconti is an excellent alternative to dining in your hotel, as a nice conclusion to a holiday in Italy, or as a fine dining experience before an early departure to an overseas destination.Charming warm atmosphere in thhe winter, and a nice small garden terrace in the summertime. Family run, very friendly owners. Good selection of wines and 5-star menu. Either before or after dinner, you may include a nice walk by the Castello Visconti Castle in the centre of Somma Lombardo. The restaurant lies in a small alley just by the castle, but difficult to find using Google Maps: I suggest just heading for the Castle and then park in front of it, walking the few yards to the restaurant. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but worth it.

We were staying at Castigni B&B and walked to this restaurant, attracted by their outside seating and good menu. Had an outstanding meal of salmon for one and sea bass for the other, both excellent and complemented by a very satisfactory liter of house white. Had the first item on the dessert menu, also outstanding. Finally the server was first rate. A nice surprise and a super last lunch in Italy.
