A very busy restaurant in the back streets of Bandol.Service, ambiance and quality of food was excellent.Observing the dishes presented to guests one could see how everything was beautifully presented.I had a particularly wonderful creamy fish soup as a starter and for main course a perfectly prepared beef casserole.

Superb lunch at the restaurant Les Oliviers in the hotel L' Ile Rousse in Bandol. We took the menu "Decouverte"( mets et vins....food and wines). The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wines were excellent and perfectly matched with the food. A perfect lunchtime dining experience in great surroundings...the restaurant overlooks the sea...and impeccable service.Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay in our establishment. Went there on our first night in Bandol. We were very pleasantly surprised. Had a wonderful ceviche to start, I had Sole meunière, it was excellent. My wife had lotte that was equally tasty.The wine was very good Bandol rose and all of 27â¬. Desert was a delicious pan a cotta.Not only would we recommend it, but we are going back for out last night that we are in Bandol.

After thinking I would miss this recommended gem of a restaurant due to scheduling conflicts, I was lucky enough to have a liesurely lunch (they are normally open only evenings 19h-22h except Wed and Sun). I have been extremely lucky personally and professionally to eat in very fine restaurants and I have had some great meals. A few of these have been very memorable. I count this lunch among those. It is as much to do with the quality and flavour of the food (and wine) as it is The experience.Although this place is small and unassuming do not underestimate this restaurant. It belies the reality that the owners want to make fabulous, approachable food that they would like to eat in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.The wine too is of great interest. Their focus is on natural wines and there is a solid selection of the best of these.If you are in Bandol and love wine and food, do not miss this place. A warning, they are most often booked. Reserve ahead.

This small restaurant in the back streets of Bandol was so special that we dined there twice during our weeks stay in the town. Excellent lobster linguini and fabulous risotto with scallops were beautifully presented and tantalised the tastebuds.The restaurant appears to be managed by two young guys one the chef and the other front of house,both of who are thoroughly charming and do everything they can to make your evening special.Booking is essential as this is a small venue and is very much in demand due to its reputation for excellence.

This is tucked away a couple of streets behind the popular sea front and is a small family run restaurant. A nice fresh style to the decor. Greeting and subsequent service was very friendly with a professional, but informal style. For starters, the asparagus with Parmesan was perfectly cooked. The other starter of Rouget was also deemed top class. The fillets de daurade were again expertly cooked and served with a nice sauce vierge. The medallions of beef were superb with fresh fois gras and heaps of garlic, a rich but wonderful dish. A plate of local cheeses were shared and again all in prefect condition. The wine list was local and short, but good value. This was a very enjoyable evening with someone in the kitchen who really knows what they are doing. THere will definitely be a return visit when next in Bandol.

Tiny restaurant in gourmet alley beside KV&B and Le Square two other fine restaurants Different fare to what's on offer elsewhere.Set menus for â¬42 and ⬠59 but better choice off the a la carte particularly amongst the 4 starter sharing plates ranging ⬠7 to â¬16 with enough for 4. These included thin slices of spicy cured filet mignon with pickled red cabbage, a local speciality ' cade toulonnaise ' a bit like socca from Nice with Japanese green pepper, tartine with black truffle and croquettes with jambon blanc. All were superb.An interesting selection of mains including the house special of cabbage leaf stuffed with confit pork and black truffle. This was deliciousGood selection of keenly priced winesExcellent service.All in all a fine dining experience. Well worth a visit

Based on Trip Advisor reviews we selected Ferme Auberge for our lunch today. Reservations are strongly recommended because itâs very popular! The five of us had a selections of items- ranging from their fish soup to salads to duck to lamb. All were delicious and served at the appropriate temperatures. The view of La Ciotat is spectacular and the horse stables below the restaurant add to the country ambience. Thereâs a good selection on the menu for all tastes, and the beer/wine list is quite good. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the meals. Outdoor tables are available on non windy days. Well worth a visit! Plus itâs away from the hectic tourist locations. We will definitely return.
