Situated in a Franconian Fachwerkhaus in the centre of Laudenbach The Goldner Engel is the uncommon combination of a good restaurant, a hotel and a traditional butcher's shop.The Goldner Engel was built in 1596 and is family owned and managed since 1939. The owners are very friendly and correct. You find the river Main at walking distance. The hotel offers premium rooms and basic rooms. We had a basic room with a large terrace over the sausage workshop. Our simply furnished and decorated room at the first floor had a sofa & coffee table, a table & chair, a TV, a reasonable double bed and a separate private bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower over the bath. All was clean. Windows can be opened.The hotel is serving an excellent German breakfast. The restaurant offers tasty German cuisine, and definitely deserves a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The wine list is impressive.We recommend Landhotel Goldner Engel to anyone who seeks a good nightâs sleep at an acceptable price and who appreciates a nice restaurant.

After a long day in Miltenberg, we were really hungry and decided to stop there for dinner. They have seats inside, but also a nice area outside to sit down there. Service was swift, friendly and professional. Everything was clean and looked in good shape. The food also arrived swiftly and tasted very good.I had pasta and really liked my dinner; as did my parents and my best friend. This restaurant is family owned and they are from italy, so if you want to enjoy some italian food in Miltenberg, this is the place to go to!

Having spent a couple of hours walking around Miltenberg, we stopped by at this cafe for some coffee and cake. This is a self-service place, the girls at the counter were friendly, and everything worked out very well.

We unfortunately werenât able to taste the food but the wine on the house that the proprietor has served to us because they were about to close shop for the day was superb. I havenât felt so welcomed anywhere for a long time. Weâll make sure to come again during opening hours next time around!

Wir waren auf Empfehlung zum Essen dort. Nachdem wir an einem schönen Tisch im Biergarten Platz genommen haben wurde uns gleich die Karte gebracht. Das Konzept finden wir überzeugend .. von Kleinigkeiten (kleiner Salat mit Nüssen, Currywurst) über Rumpsteak alles was wir erwartet hatten. Auch auf unsere Sonderwünsche, welche nicht auf der Karte standen (Salat mit Garnelen) ist der Chef persönlich eingegangen. Der Service war den ganzen Abend sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war wirklich lecker. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder und hoffen das diese harmonische regionale Küche angenommen wird. Zum Abschluss müssen wir besonders das Dessert empfehlen.
