This place makes me wish I lived in Tallahassee. I love the food, and the proprietor is charming. I ordered the same thing as last time (lechon asado, which comes with black beans and rice, fried plantains, and yucca), so nothing new to report other than a year later, the food is still consistently good. (My dining companions were pleased with the ropa vieja and Cuban sandwiches.) Looking forward to my next trip!

We stopped in last night after attempting to check out another place up the road that happened to be closed so we came upon this on a whim. So glad we stopped! Everything we ordered was delicious! We got a sampler platter, our meals, and dessert and the bill for two was only $35 bucks. Server was exceptional. Will 100% be back.

El Jalisco is one of mine and my finace's most favorite Tallahassee restaurants! The food is always delicious, their service very friendly and fast. I have eaten here with large parties, as well as with just a few people and the service consistent and various entrees I've tried always tasty. Love their salsa, too and how they bring out enough bowls for each individual to dip their own. You also can't beat their BOGO margs!
