Was there during World Cup this year....very good service, drinks and food. Enjoyed relaxing out of the sun with a cold one! The meals were very good, esp the fresh fish plates. Very nice smoothies too. A very nice setting to watch the waves and surfers. Friendly and helpful staff everytime.

We walked up and had their "all day happy hour" (2 for 1 drinks) and dinner while watching the sunset on the beach. The staff was wonderful and food and drinks, delicious. They had live music as well. Highly recommend.

If your staying at the JW Marriott in Guanacaste I highly recommend taking a walk on the beach (during low tide) to Lolaâs for lunch. The food was great and the staff was awesome. The views were also spectacular

During a visit to Playa Conchal, arose the desire to feel connected to the surrounding neighborhood, so why experience the area through one of its restaurants?After deciding to arrive at Ander's Restaurant, it was immediately clear that excellent service would definitely be the standard for the rest of the night. Javier, our very attentive host, provided a warm and sincere welcome, and proceeded to inquire about any food restrictions and preferences, as well as consulted with Chef Ander regarding some options (not on the menu) to cater to a vegetarian's regimen. By surprise, both were happy to offer a few different plates that delivered on every detail.In relatively short order, arrived the most delicious, well prepared and nicely presented meals one could find in Brasilito. Nice texture, fresh ingredients, savory taste - perfect way to end the day.Add to that the authentic beach vibe, clean and orderly tables (glasses, tableware and tablecloths) and more than accesible price - for me that's an EASY five out of five "Excellent rating"!

The food is fantastic! Had the gallo pinto, the typical Costa Rican meal and it was perfect! The homemade bread is fantastic, daughter asked if we could buy a whole loaf. The avocado toast, best we have ever had. And the lemonade, wow!!! Everything was wonderful and we are so glad we found this place! Loved it so much I went here twice during my week in Tamarindo. Excellent for solo diners as you can sit at the bar and the portion sizes are just right. We stopped in during our beach tours and our driver brought us here. The food was excellent...very local. Our server spoke English so made asking questions easier. My daughter is a vegetarian and they have vegetarian dishes. Very typical of a South American eatery

If you are looking for a fresh cooked to order breakfast served by the nicest family look no further than Jalapenos. Mike and his wife made us feel like part of their family while sitting outside in the cutest garden.The burritos were amazing. They were huge and delicious and filled us up till dinner time.If the setting and food weren't enough they invited us behind the restaurant to see and hand feed their chickens. For is city slickers from the US it was a definite highlight.
