Stopped by for breakfast on our first morning in Medellin. The smells of the pan de bono and empanadas filled the room. We got coffee and breakfast. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazing. Very attentive staff, friendly and always smiling. So glad we found this place! Muchas gracias por todo, muy rico.

My wife and I ate at the location downtown Medellin. The restaurant is on the second floor and overlooks a pedestrian shopping avenue. Authentic atmosphere and food. Folks you canât get more nostalgic. Very typical dishes - try any number of soups to full plate meat dishes...they are excellent. Staff is very professional. Depending on arrival time; you might have a wait.Hi,Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience with us. We were here to have dinner and the atmosphere of the place is very nice, the staff is friendly, let's say the service is the plus in this restaurant. This restaurant has all of the attributes that are important for a great restaurant - delicious food, creatively conceived and created items, thoughtful presentation, comfortable and nice setting, and great service. On top of that, you are helping indigenous people in the Amazon Basin by ordering their dishes that all use ingredients mostly from the Amazon Basin. You also receive a gift rosewood carving created by these people, providing additional income to them. I cannot remember when Iâve ever eaten so many courses with mostly unfamiliar ingredients (even the drinks!) They ranged from very good to incredible in flavor. To me, the incredible items included pork in borojo sauce, fermented pineapple panna cota, and Mapinguarà (a flavorful cocktail made from cocona, arazá, etc.). Other people will likely have other favorites. Two added observations: the entrance was a little obscure (take the stairs to the right of the sign near the street) and be prepared to spend more than usual. It is a very fun place to dine. People can eat the same familiar dishes at the same familiar restaurants, or try something totally different. I was very glad I did and couldnât wait to tell people about it!

We went there for our last meal on a 2 1/2 month trip in Brazil and Colombia. The rib eye steak we had was hands-down the best grilled meat of the trip! It was cooked to perfection and generously sized. Colombian cooking levels for beef vary a bit to the less-cooked side. For example, my husband likes medium-rare in the US, but in Colombia, that was almost always rare and barely warm in the center. So order one level higher if doneness than you would normally like, and you get what you expect. Not being familiar with Colombian names for cuts of meat, the waiter asked us if preferred thick or thin cuts and helped us select using that information. A basket of garlic bread was served before the meal came and the sangria we ordered was tasty. The meal came with a salad and a choice of one side dish. Good service and we would happily return!

I came here for a dinner on a recent business trip. Luisa, the hostess helped a couple of gringos order a delicious dinner. Hamilton, our waiter, was very accommodating and understanding of our language deficiency. Live music, good wine, great steaks and a chill atmosphere. Donât hesitate to come here when youâre in Medellin.

Visiting the city of Medellin for the fifth time with family and friends and my birthday gift, eating en la provincia restaurant. The food was great, service and atmosphere incredibly.The experience to remember, even our friends after returning home still talking about this restaurant.

After travelling Colombia for a few weeks we were really craving a great steak, and we weren't disappointed at this restaurant. Both steaks were cooked to our liking, the staff were really friendly and the band were fantastic. Thanks for a terrific meal!!

This is a hidden gem with delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The steak was perfectly cooked with unique sides like American potatoes which included pickles and smoked bacon. They have a tomahawk steak that I would highly recommend.We appreciate the time it took to tell us your experience and give us a good rating. The team is always willing to do everything possible to make your experience a barbaric one.

I tasted the four cheeses gnocchi and La Bombonera, both so, so delicious. The coconut lemonade is impressive. The atmosphere of the restaurant, magnificent, La Pampa has a privileged location. Every single thing in this place is simply perfect. I hope to be back soon. Viviana was very friendly and Franklin was very attentive and very good at English.
