Brookfield is an affluent town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States, situated within the southern foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. The population was 16,487 at the 2010 census. The town is located 43 miles (69 km) northeast of New York City, making it part of the New York metropolitan area. Brookfield was first settled in 1710 by John Muirwood, as well as other colonial founders including Hawley, Peck and Merwin. They bartered for the land from the Wyantenuck Nation and the Pootatuck nation who were ruled under the Sachem Waramaug and Pocono. The purchase of the southern portion of town involved the current municipal center where sachem Pocono then had his village and lived in an enormous palisade along the Still River. Eventually, when the town was settled, it was first established as the Parish of Newbury, which incorporated parts of neighboring Newtown and Danbury. The town of Brookfield was established in 1788. It was named after the first minister of the parish's Congregational church, Reverend Thomas Brooks.

Highly impressed with this restaurant for their authentic food, excellent service, reasonable prices and traditional Mexican ambiance. Their Guacamole made at your table is as fresh and authentic as you can get, staff is very friendly and attentive, they read your mind and serve what you want before you ask. We loved their Chicken Fajitas and Veggie Enchiladas. Iâll definitely recommend this place.

This chain by far has the best salsa ever! There used to be a restaurant by this name in Manhattan on Broadway and 10th Ave. most u inquest salsa. Imagine our surprise when this restaurant opened here with the exact salsa we hadn't had since 1990. Margaritas are delicious. They have the best guacamole table side in any Mexican restaurants in Greater Danbury area. They also have an unique side dish in their cheesy potatoes that I can't get enough. My favorite dish is the chile relleno. Never disappoints. Many traditional dishes offered along with standard dishes. Very friendly staff too!

This restaurant features fine Peruvian cuisine. It is located in a very small strip mall. I feel it deserves to be listed: we enjoyed eating there very much, and I will write a review once you list this restaurant.

We've been here a number of times. If you are looking for something different give them a try. Service is very good and friendly. The food is authentic, very tasty, with large portions. Try sharing a few dishes to experience their menu (don't forget to ask for the green hot sauce). Start off with a pisco sour, a traditional cocktail and you won't be disappointed. We will continue to visit this restaurant.
