Enjoyed an excellent lunch of vegetables and produce grown on the farm or very nearby area. You can really taste the difference of fresh, clean, vegetables cooked very simply. The dining room itself was lovely, overlooking the farm, and the hosts were so gracious and very friendly. The brown rice was very special. We bought some to take home. It was a perfect lunch, especially if you are staying at any nearby ryokan and saving room for dinner. It was an easy 15 minute drive away from Kurokawa Onsen.

Though out of the way from tourist information Centre , it provide free shuttle service . Nice set up with good view . Can get Juwari soba which is 100 % buckwheat for those gluten intolerant people . Basashi is a bit tough . Service is great . Though not much English is spoken Overall good place to go

We had a quick lunch at this popular eatery along the main food street in Kurokawa Onsen. The shop is easily recognized by its green curtains at the entrance. We shared a communal table in a semi private room with other tourists and had a good time. They have an English menu. The udon beef noodle soup and grilled mackerel I had were good. Total cost came to 3000 yen for two persons with two glasses of sake. You can also sit at the counter.

Awesome, good quality, real original japanese style. The owner is able to speak English a little bit. No English menu but there is some pictures of food to choose. It's delicious and good atmosphere.

English menu is available. Quaint restaurant with individual covess for diners. It is a yakiniku place so youâll have to cook some of the dishes you order. They serve horse meat. They also serve a mixed plate of chicken, pork and beef for those not inclined to horse meat. It is near the center of town.Thank you for using it.We recommend you to make a reservation at night.We are waiting for your visit.

Really enjoyable and unique experience. Was skeptical to come such long way but it was worth it. The food is definitely a highlight so make sure you enjoy trying out new things. We stayed in old main building which I recommend. Kurosawa town is also very pretty and enjoyable to walk around, had lunch at a ramen place in the hills (ask at post office). Its great for a dhort break or weekend, very memorable and suthentic experience.
