This is one restaurant, I couldn't guess, how many times, I have visited. It is not a fast food-style establishment but, a place to relax with friends and, enjoy a meal. The food is always superior and the staff are friendly and efficient. There are several types of seating. You can enjoy a tatami mat room, sushi bar or, tables and chairs. There is even a room which can be reserved for parties with friends and family. A great place to enjoy company, while dining and sipping some of the local spirits. You won't be disappointed !

This establishment, I visited for a suppertime meal and, was impressed. The building appears to have been recently renovated and is spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. While waiting for my order, I walked around and took photos. One thing I noticed was a smoking room, located outside the dining area. There are tables and chairs , as well as Japanese style tatami rooms for dining. My meal was delicious and, I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

First, I'll explain why this pork is so special. It comes from a rare Ryukyu pig, which nearly became extinct. The Agu, is a small, black hog and, it's meat contains 25% cholesterol than, the pork most folks eat. The restaurant serves Agu, steaks, hamburger, gyoza and, other items, consisting of this tender, delicious meat. There is seating for about 20 customers. Parking is limited to the street or, across the highway, as there is a bus stop, directly in front of the establishment. Besides, sit down meals, you can buy the cuts of meat, frozen to cook at home. Prices are ridiculously low, considering the scarcity of this type animal. Go for it !

This is probably the fanciest dining facility in town. You get a greeting at the front door and, as you walk to find seating, you will feel as if you are surrounded by geisha girls. The walls are decorated with beautiful geisha artwork and murals, accentuated with red lacquered wood and studio lighting.Choices for seating include tables/chairs, tatami matting or, a sushi bar. The entire facility is kept well maintained and spotless. Staff are friendly and efficient and the reasonably priced foods are delicious. It is best to arrive early on holidays or, weekends, as this restaurant is popular and, may become full to capacity as groups, wanting to enjoy a relaxing dinner, come in to soak up the atmosphere and outstanding service.

This establishment is conveniently located on HWY329 in Kin Town. It is strictly a takeout type of business. There is one bench, to sit on, while waiting for your order. The staff are friendly and polite. Menus are available in Japanese or, English. There is limited parking, in front of the store so, many local people, telephone orders in ahead of time and, just come by to pick them up. Many businesses place orders and have the meals delivered. Once you make an order, it will take a few minutes for your meal to arrive but, it is well worth the wait. Every meal, I have had, was delicious, filling and well under the cost, you would pay at a sit down restaurant. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

We came for a shabu shabu but the owner recommended the local version: Tajine Mushi Dinner. Absolutely sublime, finishing with a risotto made from the left-over juice. Best food by far we had in Okinawa. The owners treat you as family and their daughter Sakura is the sweetest 3 yr old you can imagine. She managed to communicate in Japanese with my wife and I when both of us can only just articulate a couple of words in Japanese... A great culinary experience in a lovely Okinawa family environment. You just need to go with the suggestions and finish with the ice cream!

This restaurant served the best meal, I've had, so far, this year. Homemade and handmade, the hamburger, covered with gravy and mushrooms, was out of this world delicious. It came with mashed potatoes, soup, salad, rice and cooked vegetables.. The staff are friendly and efficient and the facilities are kept immaculately clean. There are cafe style tables, large dining room tables and chairs, booster chairs for little ones and, a tatami room available, to chose for seating. Outdoors, there is patio seating for those who smoke or, simply want to enjoy the ocean view. A great place to dine with family or friends, I tell everyone, don't pass up a chance to visit this establishment.

Must try of Okinawa soba especially the one with seaweed. Add a dash of the local pepper sauce , be careful with pouring itâs a big hole opening ! Went there after peak hours, plenty of space to choose. Try the tatami facing the ocean. The original flavour soba was tasty especially the meat and soup. But my best was the one with seaweed. Yum meh! Comes with a seaweed fried rice when ordered in a set. Purchase at the machine on entrance and hand in the tickets to the lady for preparation. If u like it much they sell ready made take away packs/boxes :)
