Stopped here for food after an Emancipation day holiday trip with friends to Mystic Mountain. Seems to be a popular spot cuz the restaurant was full. After placing our order at the cashier and finding seats we were served pretty quickly. The food was good. The service was ok.

Mom's Restaurant is a authentic restaurant in down town Ocho. A local escorted me to a requested local restaurant away from the tourist spot. The restaurant lacks any character but 7 tables are available for 36 people. The menu was limited (Fried chicken, baked chicken, curried chicken, oxtail, fish dishes etc.) I had a decent portion of steamed fish and rice and a cucumber Juice. The fish was enjoyable and the juice was too sweet for me. A dish starts from 700 JMD and a drink from 100 JMD.

This is our second year trip back to Couples San Souci Resort. We enjoy sometimes going off site to experience a nice dinner. This was our second time going to Evitaâs Restaurant, atop a hill overlooking Ocho Rios. The food is freshly prepared, authentic Italian, and delicious. We enjoyed a variety of entrees and a couple appetizers. Special requests are handled with pleasure, and excellent preparation. Both visits, Evita came by to chat, and as you can see in the photo, she is a sweet heart, and lovely. The restaurant is open air, overlooking the city and cruise port. Eclectic decor with decades of photos from renowned visitors. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Evitaâs provides a free service in which their driver will pick you up at the resort, and take you back after dinner. A nice touch, and the cost of a tip being appropriate.Thank you, 'Luckyme', for your wonderful review and compliments!!!It was really nice seeing you again this year, and hearing that because you were so happy last year, you decided to return, despite staying at one of the finest, all inclusive, resorts of Ocho Rios!So, can we say, 'Arrivederci' until: 'same day, same time, next year' ....?Ciao! Priory Beach is quite deserted, and so, not taken care of. The tide has left lots of rubbish at the high water line.Broken glass in the sand completes the land-based picture. There are no rubbish barrels; I suppose no one would empty them if there were any...The water is nice, with a smooth sandy bottom.

This restaurant is new sense my last visit to Jamaica. The food is made to order and very delicious. They have a private beach as well. We originally came for a beach front dinner but came back for lunch and the beach. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

We stopped here with a large group after we finished our excursion. The positives was the restaurant is right on the beach so the view is amazing, however there were definitely a lot more negatives. The food was cold and the taste was disappointing. We were only given 3 options of what to eat: jerk chicken, baked chicken, or ox tail. The staff seemed confused, and didnât even explain to us what came with the meal. I got the jerk chicken â it was cold and the meat was hard, the salad was warm, the rice and peas was very blan and there was no âjerkâ to my jerk chicken. I found the food was definitely overly priced, and not worth it. I would not visit this restaurant again.

Luckily get chance to visit restaurants few times over the years. And credit goes to equally delicious food served over the time.That fact give restaurant quality name.Steam Red Snapper with okra, plantains is so delicious. And grilled chicken fantastic. Restaurant is well done with wine barrel as part of tables and chairs. Appelton Estate Rum is served and may notice professional service provided with local flair.

My partner and I went here for dinner, and I must say from the minute we arrived up to the time we were leaving the service was impeccable. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, the staff made us feel at home. They checked on us regularly. The highlight of the evening however was when Denzel wrote my proposal in the sand and lit it on fire. I'll forever remember it and the Bamboo Blu family.Thank you so much Denzel and team, I will definitely be visiting real soon and recommending it to others.Thank you Cardii86. The best spot for lunch! Great local eats serving some of the best jerk, with a great smoked taste. The traditional sides such as festivals, bammy and bread fruit were great as well! Cute little covered tables in a garden to dine at and take in your surroundings!
