Me and my partner stayed in Trappeto for 5 days. We went to eat there twice for dinner. The place is done up nicely and the tables are well spaced from each other. There is also a large area outside where one can dine in the fresh air in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and service was good. The times we went I tasted the pasta which was delicious and on both occasions as a main course I had the Mirage pizza. It was to die for. The outer part was crust filled with ham and mozzarella and the inner part was "normal" pizza. It is one of the best pizzas I have tasted. Prices were on the low side so one need not break the band to have a good meal here. I recommend it to anyone staying in the vicinity of Trappeto.

Ero già stato in questo locale diverse volte e non avevo eccepito nulla ma quest'anno sono rimasto deluso.Vengono proposti due menù, uno a 15 e uno a 25 euro. Il menù da 15 euro prevede quattro antipasti, un primo, sorbetto, acqua e vino, ma noi (10 persone) vogliamo esagerare e scegliamo il menù da 25 (sei antipasti, due primi, un secondo, acqua, vino e sorbetto).Ci accomodiamo al tavolo e ci vengono subito portate tre bottiglie di acqua, una caraffa di vino da un litro e una da mezzo.Sugli antipasti (insalata di polpo, cozze, seppioline fritte, calamaretti, fasolari, caponata di mare) nulla da dire; come primi vengono portati due vassoi (risotto ai frutti di mare e ravioli con astice) per tutto il tavolo che risultano appena sufficienti, infatti viene chiesto al cameriere se è possibile avere, quantomeno, un altro po' di risotto. Viene così portato un altro piatto che poi, con nostro enorme stupore, ci viene fatto pagare 10 euro.Durante la cena chiediamo un'altra bottiglia di acqua e una di coca cola.Il secondo che ci viene portato sono due mini vassoi con frittura di calamari.Finita di mangiare la frittura attendiamo il sorbetto ma il cameriere ci comunica che lo stesso è terminato (anche se, a dire la verità , ce ne vengono portati tre - su dieci - allungati con l'acqua).Al momento di pagare abbiamo la sorpresa del risotto fatto pagare 10 euro, e anche di 5,00 euro per la bottiglia di acqua e quella di coca cola. Alla ns. richiesta di chiarimenti ci viene detto che nel menù sono previsti 0,250 lt di acqua e 0,250 lt di vino a testa, quindi ci era stata portata già dell'acqua in più (peccato non si possa dire la stessa cosa per il vino). E che dire del sorbetto previsto nel menù che non ci è stato portato?Avevamo previsto di andare in questo locale altre volte durante il ns soggiorno a Trappeto ma, visto il trattamento che ci è stato riservato, abbiamo optato per altri locali della zona.

Se volete un ristorante a Trappeto ,sul mare letteralmente, andate da Piero e Mimma che vi serviranno succulenti piatti siciliani di terra e di mare conditi da una simpatia composta ma spontanea come è raro trovare a prezzi onesti.Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo cenato la sera del 24 dicembre e siamo stati accolti come persone di casa loro .Dall'antipasto al dolce tutto ottimo.Consigliato caldamente

Weit und breit nix zu parken, dann eine eher geschmacklose Pizza, ein durchaus süffiger guter Tafelwein und eine eher sterile Atmosphäre. War gut, aber muss nicht noch einmal sein.

This place is in a great location and the waiter was very welcoming. The pizzas are very good value but the qulity of the toppings were not quite as good. Spaghettit Carbonara was plentiful and OK, as wwas the escalope in breadcrumbs. The local white wine was not great but was cheap. So the meal was acceptable but nothing special.

Poco da dire, veramente ottimo e prezzi onesti! Tornerei volentieri. Affumicato di spada/tonno/salmone superlativo.Unica nota stornata abbondante aglio nellâinsalata di mare.

My wife and I spent 3 of our 5 nights in Trappeto here at Privilege. This is the perfect stop for evening beverages while enjoying the sunset. The food is average/good. Try anything with seafood and you will not be disappointed! The true reason we kept returning was the staff. They were so sweet and helpful. Even through my broken Italian they were friendly and patient. If you are looking for quiet and intimate this may not be your place. However if you want to have a beer and maybe watch the soccer game with the locals this is the place to be!!

We have been coming to this family-run restaurant for years on our last night before flying home. The first time, it was late and not much was open but the owner welcomed us in as the only guests and served us two fish that were fresh, fresh, fresh. Since then we always come back. Normally, we have the fish but this time we decided to have pizza. It was the best pizza I had in the three weeks we were in Sicily and that is saying a lot! The crust was tender and thin with a good chew and the toppings were excellent.The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because name implies it is a lounge as well. We had stopped in earlier in the evening for a pre-dinner drink only to find they had nothing beyond beer, wine, lemoncello and amaro. No cocktails. So we returned later for a great dinner.Thanks for the review and the next. We're gearing up for the bar so he can give us five as judgment
