Today was my first visit to St. Angelo's, and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Only a few tables were occupied when I arrived around 11:30 but it was rather crowded by the time I left. One orders at the window, uses the self-serve soda fountain and then finds a table where your food will be brought to you. I have difficulty walking, but the very nice woman taking orders took pity on me, and brought menus to my table, and took care of taking my order, filling my soda, and bringing me the bill. I had one of the lunch specials - a pizza panini which was surprisingly large, filled with pepperoni, a nice tomato sauce, and a generous amount of mozzarella. It came with a plastic cup of piping hot sauce that was great for dunking. I had a choice of pasta salad or fries, and went with the fries. Wow. Some of the best fries I've ever hard - hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. My lunch with a soda came to a little over $8 and it was more than enough for lunch. Sitting so close to the register, I overheard just about everyone placing their orders - pizza was very popular, obviously, but quite a few people ordered wings and salads. Pasta options are available, and the list of sandwiches was extensive. A few work colleagues have indicated an interest in going, so I imagine a return visit is in my near future.

Party of four with all different entrees and all were reported to be good to very good. Service was outstanding and a nice craft beer selection with a full bar. The atmosphere was dark wood and comfortable. Noise level was great and conversations were not drowned out by background noise. I would recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Stayed at Marriott Courtyard in Kennesaw. Eric front desk recommended DaVinci’s and what a recommendation! Husband is a pizza junkie..kind of like the Dad on Christmas Story with turkey. Anyways Pizza Junkie declared this the best pizza in years!! The crust is fabulous, the sauce just right and we were so hungry. Yet the story gets better. We had driven 700 miles from Florida, negotiated dreaded Atlanta and definitely could not face traffic again. Eric gave us a DaVinci menu and coupons. We ordered 20 inch pizza with pepperoni. When that baby arrived, could not believe the size and there’s just the two of us! Offered Eric a slice. He declined, said “No Madam, I am too full”. Pizza Junkie and I enjoyed a slice but the ordered topping was missing..called and related the issue to DaVinci’s. Manager said “No problem. We will deliver the correct pizza”. Courtyard, Front Desk Eric AGAIN called our room “Mrs —Your pizza is here”. This time Eric observing my repeat pizza pick up, stifled a laugh as I told the nice delivery gentlemen “This is just like ground hog day”! His reply “Yes, but this time your pizza has the correct pepperoni”! Retipped him and off He went with a smile. And this time, Eric took two slices and said “I recommend this to everyone..it really is the best pizza”!! We totally agree. And DaVinci’s customer service is unparalleled. Very impressed. We may have to place Eric, Kennesaw Courtyard and DaVinci’s as our annual return overnight stop. Thank you DaVinci’s for the most wonderful pizza and customer service. You have a delicious product and place even your transient customers #1. We appreciate it..and it did not go unnoticed, you are a company of integrity. Thank 9

Antico Pizza

A group of us ordered pizza from Antico Pizza while staying at the Embassy Suites in August 2019. They took about 45 minutes for delivery, which is pretty standard. The pizza was tasty and we enjoyed it. It didn't have the best flavoring that we every tasted, but it was better than the average pizza out there. There is a lot of dough and crust, so beware if you aren't loving that in a pizza. They are very filling (we ordered 2 pizza's for 4 of us) and we could have likely gotten away with just one large or one extra large instead of 2 large pizzas. We had a good experience with Antico Pizza.

Carrabba's Italian Grill

We were prepared and arrived around 6 o'clock and indeed at a quarter to seven a line had formed. We knew as we've at Carrabba's several times before. It's cozy. The staff is always friendly and the food freshly made. As we sat down the waitress brought a small basket with fresh Italian bread and a small plate with fresh pesto and a bottle of olive oil for dipping the bread.I ordered my favorite meal, the linguine piscatore and my spouse had the Pollo Rosa Maria. Both included a side dish (soup or salad) and we opted for the salad. The salads are very generous (we both had the caesar salad) and quite filling (didn't look at the calories). Both linguine and chicken were on the salty side (chicken more so than the linguine), but were delicious. As said, serving staff is polite and friendly. Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, is clean and not too loud. Entree prices are not bad at all, when you factor in the salad (or soup). Drinks are definitely on the pricey side, but we'll be back though.

In all honesty, I was hesitant about our visit when I pulled into a strip mall parking lot. But when my wife and I walked through the doors of Scalini’s we were transported to a luxurious Italian restaurant in the heart of Italy. The visit had just started and so was the amazement. The food was fabulous beginning with the garlic rolls and salad and ending with a mouth watering lasagna. So delicious. We have been back several times and are always amazed by the various entrees we’ve tried. This place is a must!

Visited here with friends and were expecting something exceptional. Unfortunately all members of my party were happy with their meals (ravioli, sea bass, linguini with clams) but I unfortunately did not have a huge appetite and ordered spaghetti pomodoro....big, big mistake. It was delivered as a clump of linguini with tomato soup on a plate. Could not believe it was served that simply. I was actually embarrassed for them. Taste was insipid and uninspired. All others satisfied. Prices a little high. Desserts were decent. I will not return. Pomodoro was slop.
