It is the main city of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte. A native of São José dos Campos is called a joseense (Portuguese pronunciation: [ʒozɛˈẽsi]).

That is not exactly a restaurant. It is a place where you buy prepared or semi-prepared food and take it home. It is really worth going. Especially if you don't know how to cook! lolThey specialize in Italian food (pasta, mainly), but also have bread, snacks, soft drinks, etc.They also have a small sit down cafe area where you can eat.At lunch hour (11am - 2pm) they serve take out. The take out menu varies daily.

I love the pizza at Vila d'Aldea!! They use very good ingredients! Pizzas have "estrange" names, so you have to be careful with what you pic and always read the pizza detailed description to see exactly what you will get! Wine list is good and not so pricy! The only thing I did not like in my last visit was the fact that the waiter was charging me a 20% higher value than the actual bill in the credit card machine and if i were not carefull on checking it before typing my pun number I would have payed more... Not sure if it was an accident or on purpose, so watch out...

The Cantina da Nena is a very traditional italian restaurant in SJC. It's been there for years, always providing guests with a friendly service, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Our favorite dish is the "Gnocchi 4 queijos", always well prepared and enough for a couple.

Big saloon, with self-service buffet for an "all-you-can-eat" fixed price OR per weight (you choose).Traditional among locals, the atmosphere is OK as is the food.Brazilian options, some pasta and japanese food are available and you can mix it in the same plate. Now and then they can get very creative with some foods, but it never seems to work (last time they offered honey, cheese and strawberry pancakes - yep, everything together in a pancake roll. Oh, boy).Good service and good fresh juices though.

We were a group of seven persons, and had a leisurely dinner. This is one of the places where one can get a nice vegetarian meal. The Vegetariano Integral that I ordered was excellent value for money and very tasty.

This was my first time at Villa Lobos restaurant. I went there with some business associates. Service was top notch! Food was very good (although I have had better)! Wine was also good (they have a great selection of Argentinian wines)! How about the price?? Well, price was not so good!! So, know this is not an everyday restaurant, however if you want to celebrate a special occasion, this place could be a good option!

I just tried this restaurant a few days ago while trying to be a good host to a European business associate. Overall we had a good dinner and all of the food was tasty and expertly-prepared.It does not earn the full five stars however, because the prices were pretty outrageous and inconsistent. A simple pasta dish cost a whopping R$80, with a pretty stingy portion, while a large ancho steak costs a few Reals extra, which is actually not too bad for local standards.I know São José dos Campos has few options for A-level meals, so talented chefs can basically charge low-information customers what ever they want. I believe however, that if price-to-portion were made just a little more even, this restaurant could become a legend in this town.

To be fair, the food is honest, simple and with good ingredients. The problem is it was too bland for me. Almost no seasoning. I don't like to go out to eat something I could have prepared myself.The place is small. If you go on a Saturday night, make a reservation.

The pizza creations are amazing. Not just because of the quality, but also the creativity of the varieties is so different than anything else I have ever found.I have had pizza in Italy, New York, New jersey on many occasions but Armazem was truly amazing!I was there twice in December 2017 and will shortly have the opportunity to go back.The staff are very polite, courteous, obliging and friendly.You can only tip the waiter(s) with cash.
