Ok, Ok. I know I have reviewed this ristorante several times, but the exquisite plates, the presentation, and the wines keep improving. Andrea and Marina have upgraded the ristorante, the food and the service, and it just keeps improving. We had a 2000 Chianti with our 6 PLATES!!! I only tell you about the 1st plate so you have an idea of what I am talking about: Andrea and Marina brought the plates for my wife and I to the table and removed the dome simultaneously...and there was smoke covering our food...which dissipated immediately...just a beautiful presentation of a delicious meat dish!! It is worth noting that Andrea is not classically trained, he learned everything on his own. Marina makes all the dolces (desserts)...of which we had tastings of 6 of them!! OMG...they were delicious. Saluti a Andrea and Marina for making something good...even better.

Ci sono stata per un compleanno con il mio compagno ed amici qualche giorno fa, molto curati gli interni e silenziosa come pizzeria con tavoli distanziati. Dal menù le pizze più particolari ci sono sembrate buonissime così io ho ordinato la cantabrico ed il mio compagno la patanegra. Avevamo letto dell'impasto bio quindi eravamo molto fiduciosi. Carino l'aperitivo con profumo al rosmarino anche se era semplicemente uno spritz dolciastro ed annacquato, carino anche l'assaggino di anguria e formaggio sul vassoio orientaleggiante ma non mi è piaciuto, più che altro la sorta di crema al formaggio, avrei preferito del caprino. La pizza è sottilissima, le mozzarelle di bufala sono intere che viaggiano di qua e di là e sia queste che i pomodorini freddi di frigo quindi la pizza è arrivata già fredda. Le acciughe a lato nella scatolina senza scritta, a me sono parse normalissime acciughe magari di qualità superiore ma non quelle grosse e dolci del cantabrico... Anche il mio compagno ha detto che la sua era buona ma niente di speciale soprattutto per il costo che aveva sui 12/13 euro. Il conto abbastanza salato in quanto le pizze particolari viaggiano sui 12 euro e fanno pagare 2,50 di coperto come l'acqua da 0,75 in bottiglia di vetro.

Invited by our Italian family who lives in Buttapietra. It's a typical casalinga restaurant with homemade pasta. We eat pasta we never had before. Tortelinni with Zucca for instance and pasta with Lepre (Hare). Delicious. Don't know th price because of the invitation on 8-6-2016

We were around for a weekend on the lake and, while going to cinema, we have been there for a dinner.Fish, vegetables were good and they also have a special pizza which actually tasted good: made by soia, kamut and bio flours.Definitively a good choiceDear customer, we are happy to have given her satisfaction with the product and service of our restaurant! The food quality is at worst above average, but usually very satisfying to all palates. The ambience is not the best since is very small and loud when full, thus I recommend going on a week day, when you can also have a nice conversation with the owners, who make the place quite an experience. Unlike many restaurants, they are very knowledgable and always willing to explain a dish and pair a wine with your meal (and always excellent recommendations).Decent prices, definitely a restaurant to try out.

i have been in this restaurant several times. I must to say that it is an amazing place, warm and cozy. The food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent attentive, The portion size of the meals were very generous. Everything was divine. I would recommend 'I Caprini' to everyone visiting.

We were sent by our B&B to this restaurant. We wanted to try the typical plate from this region, the "risotto".Super particular place, decorated with passion for "vintage", really nice garden where you can eat outside with jazz musique for a relaxing dîner. Really good prices if we compare to the meals we had in the city center. Nice and welcoming waiters who spoke a good English. We had no problem explaining our health problem. We will surely go back if we are in the area again. Thumbs up!!!
