We found this little place by accident and were very happy we did. It has a good sized patio area and inside seating. I went once with a co-worker and again later by myself. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our drink order was promptly taken and the staff was very patient with some translation of the menu into English.I had the caprese salad and it was fresh with the right proportion of each ingredient. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and served hot. The pizzas really are big enough for two to share, but many were eating their own. It seemed there were mostly locals eating each time I was there and the place was busy both times.I sometimes travel through Zurich and have long layovers. I'll be going back here!

The food was good, the reservation was smooth, but in general we were very underwhelmed and are puzzled by the fantastically high rating on tripadvisor, which is why we wanted to share a review. This is a restaurant that we would have found by the dozens in London or Singapore where we used to live. The food was fresh and it was very tasty, but the menu was very limited and we could actually not find anything we liked (Vitello Tonnato as the only meat option when there are at least 2 overpriced ravioli dishes, for example; and for fish only the raw tartar...all of this is way too taste-specific and there was non dish that would suit a more general palate. The menu changes every month, and it had changed on that particular day with the menu not available on the website...we actually saw other parties sit down and ask about items on the menu and leave again, but we decided to stay). Desert was also overpriced and not that great. We had a table outside, which was on the sidewalk with many people walking by very close to us (and given it is adjacent to Langstrasse, these people were sometimes not very pleasant or asking us for money). In general, this is a very expensive option for a night out, food is good, but we were looking for an anniversary dinner/special experience, which is clearly was not.Dear chooun14Thank you so much for your review. I would come here regularly if I lived with 30 km of this place!!! We found this place by accident while staying at Zurich Holiday Inn aiport. Chaming helpful staff bridged the language barrier. Ensalad mista nice &fresh. soup with a parmesan croutons was pronounced by my soup connoisseur wife as one of the best ever. We had a seafood rissoto that was delicious & big enough for two. My main was the BEST LASAGNE of my life!! We washed it done with an affordably tasty Chinati. They finshed the meal with a complemantry lemoncella. Total bill was CHF 110-120 an incredible bargin for Zurich and for this quality of food!! SEEK THIS RESTAURANT OUT!!!

Now everyone likes there pizzas differently however this pizza was absolutely fantastic, the crust was nice and thin and the toppings were delicious and fresh! We also had the bruschetta and tiramisu! Highly recommend this place if youâre keen for a large and quality meal!

This restaurant did everything right! Service was impeccable from the start to finish. After drinks and dinner were ordered, bread was served and some focaccia stuffed with prosciutto. After that we were surprised with some brochettes. We noted that all there pasta was homemade and from local ingredients and free range chicken eggs. There were eight of us and all of our meals were superb. When dinner was done another surprise came...limoncello for each of us! We had been on vacation for sixteen days and this was the best restaurant/meal that we had. Congratulations Ristorante Mercato.

One of the big pluses of this restaurant is the huge covered terrace, which is perfect for a nice evening meal in the summer months.As for the food, I wish I had opted for a pizza from the huge pizza selection on the menu, as the pork I had ordered turned out to be a bit dry, which wasn't exactly helped by the fact that I ordered fries with it, after being told that they didn't have any Roeschti. Everyone else in our party was satisfied with their meals, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was certainly very nice, so I guess I just made the wrong choice when ordering my meal.If I get another chance at going there, I will certainly give it another try.

This is the hotel restaurant in the Park Inn by Radisson, near the Zurich Airport. The Park Inn is a relatively "low end" Radisson property, so the quality of this restaurant was a surprise (a nice surprise) to us. Excellent pasta and pizza, with good service.
