After 2 days of being off food this was just what the Dr ordered. Honest, unpretentious food and good beer. What you see on the menu is what you get. We turned up just as they were setting up and the welcomed us in and fed us alcohol. Once they got sorted out around 7:30 they offered us food. And it didnât disappoint. Great wings, lovely fries, thick onion rings and two great burgers served in panini buns. The beer was excellent as well. If you want fancy. Give this a miss. If you want a change from pasta and fish. Get stuck in.

Hello, iâm from sweden but iâll Wright this in english so more people can come to this amazing place with the incredible people that make this a paradise on Earth. I booked this on TripAdvisor on mail contact with a young man named Diego. It was a Short and beautiful tripp to the restaurant from Parghelia close to (Tropea ) ,the last 100 meters from the restaurant we got held up by a flock of sheep that later appeared to belong to the ownerâs of the restaurant. When we arrived ,Diego was so cind to show us the farm with over a 1000 cheep to cere for on a big area.The restaurant is incredible sooooo beautiful with a view to die fore ,i can not describe it in words. The food,,, My god al was made from products from Their own farm (vegetables, shees from their sheep as ricotta, pecorino and cottage cheese) ,pasta (handmade) ,the wine super Nice and so on.I have been to italy plenty of timeâs and eaten rustic and good food ,but this is the winner. We got (family of four)at least 15 starterâs that was amazing and later on pasta! they asked if we would like more ,but we hade to stop ,we were al so full ,we managed a dessert, then we hade to roll out. We bougt some of their products and hugged everybody good bye. All this food with the most amazing people they wanted No more then a 100⬠i almost thought i heard wrong but No !! 100â¬.. we have hade to pay more then that for (4 main courses )in Tropea, super sheap and super food. Thank you so much ,the visit to your restaurant saved our holiday.Thank you so much for your very great compliments and your visit. We feel really lucky to have gotten to know your lovely family. This tiny place is well off the Main Street at the edge of old town Tropea but worth searching for. Itâs take-out but in the best way, you can sit outside with s lovely vista nearby and eat the freshest seafood imaginable al fresco. Best to trust the owners for what to order from mainly seafood choices which are the star here. He steered us towards the mixed seafood which at 10 euros including a glass of wine was good value. Charming, friendly service as your meal is prepared and cooked in front of you. Highly recommended!

Looking for a special night out, we chose "Alice Restaurant". Nice, intimate, outdoor setting. The service was fabulous, as was the food. Along with your Italian classics, the menu had creative and imaginative side to it too. From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Family run, the husband is your host, and the wife is the chef. When we were done he took us into the kitchen to meet her. Even shared a nice, complimentary, after dinner liquer with us. Would definitely recommend.

were here 3 years ago, where it was the best in town. this time it is just the most expensive in town. went for fish, but could only get smaller fish (orata, spigola) that was priced very high. wine is expensive (and not better than other restaurant - greco de tufo at 58 as i remember), antipasti is extremely expensive , and the waiter oversells (we ask for 4 to share for 6, we end up paying for 8) so will not come back - sorry!

Very good burgers. Range of beef burgers and a veggie burger option, which I had. Come with very nice rosemary sauce and cheese sauce, and roasted veggies on top of the veggie burger pattie. â¬10.50-12.50 for a burger. No chips included, you have to buy them for around â¬3 extra. 'Chips' are the American type and actually freshly made crisps, so would advise instead going for the potatoes option to go with the burgers. Menu is a little confusing, maybe because of the English translation, so ask a server to clarify. Servers weren't overly friendly but okay. Chairs weren't particularly comfy. Overall good food at an okay middling price for Tropea.

Maybe expecting too much after reading TripAdvisor reviews, but I felt that the restaurant was just OK.The menu was typical of the area with nothing different to make it stand out.The food was well cooked and service although started well deteriorated as the restaurant got busier.Decent enough place for a meal but not what I was expecting.

I ate here a couple of times, the food is traditional local food, prepared with great fresh produce, and good local wine, and very reasonably priced. Although I didn't have any of the fish on offer it was always being brought in fresh and looked good.
