I can say... the dishes I saw looked great, the pizza looked tasty... but I stopped for one thing: the gelato. Rich chocolate, vibrant strawberry - this is the gelato dreams are made of.And it was surprisingly inexpensive... I could eat gelato here every day...

Das Restaurant im Bahnhof Gruiten bietet eine ausgewogene Karte mit allerlei Pasta-, Pizza-, Fleisch-, Salat- und Fischgerichten, dazu diverse Vorspeisen und Desserts. Es schmeckt und die Preise sind ok. Die Weine sind allerdings ziemlich überteuert. Der Service ist in Ordnung und tischt freundlich auf. Das passt alles, obwohl es keine original italienische Küche ist, aber das ist ja inzwischen bei vielen "Italienern" so. Dennoch macht man keinen Fehler, wenn man hier einkehrt. Insgesamt ist das "Venezia" reell.

Italian food with the original Italian flavors. Interior design is maybe a little outdated but maybe this is intentional, who knows. Staff was friendly and service was fast so. If you stay in the Cityclass Hotel next door, don't bother to go further. You will get a great deal here.

We had dinner here, quite early, so service and food preparation were pretty fast. Our two different pasta dishes were delicious and home made, if you like fresh pasta, this is the place to go to in Haan. Prices are fair, drinks are not expensive, so that we had a great time here and will definitely return soon.

Casa Pio is an Italian restaurant with lovely food and comfy atmosphere. It's not super cheap, but not expensive at all. Come here to have a great evening and delicious dinner.

Ate here whilst on a business trip and will happily revisit if I come back again. It was mid week and yet the restaurant was quite busy, although this made service a little slow, but then when eating alone time drags anyway. The food was lovely and very quick to come out when the order was taken.

We always come to town since our friends reside here and we always end up at this restaurant! There is plenty of seating outside and it the weather allows one can have a very nice dinner in the outdoors...Since the restaurant is located in a small side street and there is no car traffic is is actually pleasantly quite and one can enjoy a nice conversation without trying to beat the noise...The food has always been excellent and we had the steak now a couple of times and it was very good...one would not think that if you look at the name of the restaurant but it really is good...The appetizer and salads are always fresh and plentiful and do have a lot of flavor...The chef is actually very involved in the biz and always approachable for the patrons...He certain is part of the attraction besides the good food...The wine selection has always been decent and quality and the pricing, while slightly higher vs prior years, is still within market...I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys quality food at reasonable prices and like a bit of ambience as well...Give it a try!
